Amazing!

This was the BEST ski-in, ski-out condo! We loved the layout of the condo, the cleanliness was A, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and Dani (the concierge) was a superstar! I can’t recommend it highly enough and we will return.

10/10 Stay at the base of Vail!

This was the most memorable Vail trip my family and I have ever had! The unit opened right onto the lawn, with a perfect view of the gondola—our kids loved playing in the grass, and the people-watching was a highlight. The A/C worked great, and the motorized shades gave us just the right amount of privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the daily housekeeping was amazing. We enjoyed the pool and were able to walk to all of our favorite restaurants and shops. The on-call driver at Lion Square Lodge was especially helpful for my older parents. I will absolutely be returning to this home every year. Thank you so much!!

Great location! Comfortable blankets with extra blankets provided! Location couldn’t be better on floor level with patio access to grass area by Gondola. We could walk to Market at Vail. Will definitely stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Looking Forward to Returning

This is our third visit to Lionshead and our first at this particular property. It was a beautiful property, with convenient access to the lifts. My kids enjoyed playing in the snow right outside the door. Highly recommend!

Great location

Love the condo, its layout, decor and location are excellent. Cute place and perfect spot for a home base. It’s our second time to stay at this condo. Love walking on trail by river, hiking up the mountain (Berrypicker trail is right out back door), walking distance to all the best restaurants and shopping in the Village. Favorites this trip were Little Diner and Belle’s for breakfast, Garfinkel’s and Tavern for lunch, Mountain Standard and Fall Line for dinner, Lululemon and Perch for shopping. Love sitting on patio in evening listening to live music at Vail Chophouse. The property and condo need a little love. Condo: The stove has a broken burner handle and the refrigerator’s freezer handle is about to fall off. Reported both so hopefully those easy to fix items will get resolved. Pro tip - if using stove, pull the light above it out toward you to turn on the vent fan. No idea how we figured that out but a label or some kind of notes for renters would be nice. The shower gets very hot - takes some time to figure out the right temperature setting. The owners have locked much of the storage spaces in the condo which only bothered us in the kitchen. Since we travel with kids, we like to eat most breakfasts and some dinners at home. I don’t love leaving food on counter but there is not sufficient pantry or large drawer space to store food. Refrigerator is large though. Beds are comfy but I bring my own pillow. The condo does have lots of blankets for cold nights. If you need to work, there is a desk in master bedroom but the wifi range is not strong enough there for zoom. I did zoom calls at kitchen table. We would bring upgraded wifi if we stayed there again since both my husband and I need to be able to work most mornings. The property: The grass was soaking wet for most of our stay and particularly right outside the back door which made walking to/from the back of condo pretty tricky. There is obviously an issue with the sprinkler system. The front door to condo requires going through a community door. This is our second stay and the key didn’t work to open that door at night either trip. We made sure not to lock the inside safety lock on the back door this trip so we could get in through that door when we came home after dinner. Housekeeping vaccuumed once during the week and it was nice to have beds made and fresh towels each day.

Sipping Bourbon by the fire

Enjoying a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie at 3, heading down to the jacuzzi at 4 and then sipping a fine bourbon by the fire watching the sun go down over the gondola was perfect. Great place to stay. The place is warm and cozy. I come back every year.

Location location location!!

Beautiful condo, plenty of space! You are right across the grass from the gondola & walking distance to the village, shops, grocery store, restaurants, live music, bars, and the bus stop! Along with being in the middle of everything, there are always people right outside your doors & windows but this didn’t deter us from having a great stay. But if you want privacy, this probably isn’t the beat option.
