“This is absolutely the best place to stay for a wonderful time at Lake Gaston. It is not just the very cleanest and well maintained place, the decor is soooo nice and the view from the balconies is amazing. It is clear the owners take a lot of pride in this unit and they are easily contacted should you have any questions. “We had such an awesome family vacation! We were able to go fishing everyday, along with paddle boarding, and a night time campfire each night. The house was clean and perfect for our 4 person family. Andrea was so easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to all of my messages. She even left homemade cinnamon rolls for my family that we all absolutely loved! Thank you so much for sharing the house with us and we hope to be able to rent for them again.”

Good: owner rented for less than a week at a reasonable price / Lake view / dock / kayaks & canoe / relatively flat lot / plenty of parking / propane in bottle for grill. “We had a fabulous stay. The property was exactly as listed. The little cove the house is located by was perfect for younger kids to safely play in the water right off the dock. They enjoyed the paddle board and kayak provided and the ladder off the dock was perfect for them to get out of the water. The available slip was a great addition for getting our boat put away when not in use. We will rent again in the future if available.”

“Had an amazing stay at Marc’s lake house on Lake Gaston. The home is even more beautiful in person and was extremely clean. We loved the amount of linens that were provided (including beach towels) and how stocked the kitchen was. Anything you could think of, Marc has you covered! The outdoor spaces were our favorite parts as there was enough seating for all of our guests, plus there were so many things to keep us busy! “The house was large enough to accommodate my group of six adults and three children. With three levels there are stairs so folks with mobility issues may have problems. The neighborhood and the whole lake gave off a safe, low key, uncrowded, family vibe. Everyone we met on the water or on land gave us a smile or wave. The house is close to the end of one of the creek arms off the main lake. There is a two-person canoe with paddles, a one-person kayak without a paddle and a two-person paddle boat……

“We had a great family weekend relaxing and unplugging at the Lake! We loved the big dock and expansive deck and spent most of our time there. We enjoyed the sandwich shop down the road and the cute little local ice cream spot after dinner! The house was spacious, but the living room furniture definitely needs to be replaced and the bedroom linens and pillows need to be replaced. The family time and enjoying the lake are memories we made this weekend that we’ll talk about for years to come!”

“This waterfront home on Lake Gaston has plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with good cookware, plates and utensils. The property is well-kept and the neighborhood is quiet. Bob, the property manager, is very responsive and we enjoyed working with him. There are a few minor places for improvement. It seemed like the home had been cleaned after the last stay but that may have been awhile before we checked in - there was a film of dust on many surfaces and small dead worms……

“We were getting away for just the weekend and it was what we needed. Very clean, open and spacious property. Owner was super nice and responsive. Access to lake was only a short drive away. Our only two complaints were the firmness of the bed and the mattress cover plastic made us hot.”
