“I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return.”

“The staff were great, they offered a paid upgrade that was an amazing deal. The view of the room was spectacular. It’s an old hotel, but good for its age. The drinks were very good. The food was good, could vary more, but was ok for four nights.”

“We upgraded our room as we got there and hit pool was shut so we got a private pool which was fabulous! Few minor misses from the cleaner. Bath water wasn’t very hot which was a shame as it was a fantastic bath! Overall we had a great stay! ”

“Hotellet har gratis parkering. Buss går alldeles utanför varje kvart och kostar 1,20€. Resan tar 10 minuter och du är inne i city. Det ligger ett trevligt café vägg i vägg med hotellet och även en restaurang. Vi valde detta alternativ istället för att försöka få en p-plats inne i city.”

“Excellent value for money, close to beach only 1 minutes walk from hotel, room is spacious, there is no bath, shower is good,air conditioning is so cold , it’s great for a seaside break , would go to stay again.”

“The hotel is in such a beautiful location and the hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and the sea view balcony offers amazing views, definitely get the sea view for the extra few pounds it is so worth it! Breakfast is excellent. Staff are amazing apart from one man with grey top knot on reception who was a little rude on a few occasions. Did not spoil it but could do with more customer services training! Rooms are thin and you can hear through the walls easily but it would not……

“Very polite well mannered staff. Our check in was smooth. Our room was spacious and cleaned spotless daily. Breakfast was a lovely continental with fresh juice and we were served hot coffee/ tea as required. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.”

“Nous avons eu la chance de passer un séjour dans ce super appartement extrêmement fonctionnel et propre dans lequel on s’y sent comme dans une bulle et avec comme bonus l’accès à volonté au SPA ROYAL PARK de la résidence équipé d'une salle de Sport, Piscine,Jacuzzi ,Sauna de quoi se faire une cure de bien-être au quotidien J’ajouterais que Mr China a été aux petits soins pour nous en nous proposant les meilleurs restaurants et des lieux à visiter autour d’Orihuela costa..Bref un séjour……
