“The residence was quaint and had all the necessities for a great Michigan vacation! The house was mostly clean, but there were some things stuck on the clear tablecloth that were difficult to clean off myself. There were a few bugs, but that’s not unheard of being in a grassy location with trees. I would suggest providing a bigger cutting board for guests as well. ”

“We all enjoyed the location of the house, it was walkable to the beach and downtown, so wonderful! The screened in porch was our favorite hangout- we loved watching and greeting the people who walked by.. we also loved hanging out on the comfortable large couch… it was the perfect size house for our family and friends! The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed…there was a binder with helpful information about anything we needed locally!I would recommend you stay……

“We had an amazing stay at the Blue Cottage for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfectly cozy in a stunning location especially with the snow that we got. Brenda was extremely responsive and accommodating, even offering us to stay an additional night after getting hit with a foot of snow the night before we were schedule to depart. ”

“This house was such a dreamThe property was beautiful the host was extremely nice and helped us with anything we had questions about, I highly recommend this property if you will be in the area ! The only thing I will say is the road to get to the house is a dirt off road trail so if you have a low car it might be alittle rough for you ! But otherwise absolutely amazing”

“First- I have to say, I have always given 5 star reviews for places we’ve stayed, this is my first below. We know it matters, and don’t take these lightly. The house on the water was cute in concept, we were really looking forward to our stay. It was fairly clean, although a bit weathered from use. When we arrived, we were surprised to find multiple flies inside the unit. We didn’t equate them to the bathroom until day two. By the end of the second day, the raw sewage and concentrated urine……
