"Very beautiful villa😍 cleaner was so sweet and lovely, she helped us out. Unfortunately with our mistake we didn’t know this villa is very remote, nothing is nearby so we had to move out after one night. Be sure to have a car if you want to stay here as no taxis will come, no food delivery etc. would definitely stay here again with a better plan and car!"

"Der Unterkunft wurde übergebucht und wir wurden angerufen und gesagt dass die Villa nicht mehr verfügbar ist obwohl wir bezahlt haben den ganzen geld und dann 5 stunde warten haben die uns in einer hässlichkeit unterkunft mit armeisen zusammen zu leben. Die villa wurde gebucht für sechs personen und die neue unterkunft war einfach ein zimmer wohnung für 6 Personen, einfach schrecklich. Unsers ganz geld ist weg umsonst. "

"Lovely family run hotel. We enjoyed the food which was freshly made and locally sourced (most of the ingredients home grown!) The pool area was really nice and very quiet, even in peak season, and the small beach which was a short walk away was perfect. Car hire from the hotel was a really plus too. Would definitely recommend to people wanting a quieter stay in Zakynthos. "

The hosts Angelo and Angela are incredible. I called Angela my fairy godmother, there was absolutely nothing she couldn’t fix or help with. "We left Akakia Panoramic Villa only a few hours after arrival because we simply could not stay there. The villa had a very strong smell of dampness and mould throughout the house. I have a medically documented mould allergy and have previously been hospitalized due to mould exposure, so remaining in the property was not safe for me. We also found visible signs of moisture damage in several areas, including peeling paint, cracked plaster and walls that appeared to have been painted over...

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."
