「The cabin is beautiful and the host were so friendly. All you need for a quiet get away. We did not have a pet, but if you did they have plenty of a safe zone to run and play. The locals so friendly, shopping, church and restaurants. Also learned a little history about the main house.Thanks so much, Jim and Mona」

「Cabin and property it is on is clean and well maintained. The walking trail is part of a local park so there are occasional walkers passing by on the trail. Overall it’s a good solid place to stay unless you intend to venture out beyond a one-mile radius. The surrounding area is repressed and comes with elevated risk as you pass though it. Crime rate statistics for Henderson are elevated compared to other areas in NC and I wish I would have researched it a bit more before bringing my family...

「We chose the property for proximity to an event but in retrospect it served as a perfect getaway. The house had a rustic vibe but has all the modern amenities. There were only 2 of us so we used the downstairs bedroom but the upstairs was outfitted beautifully with 2 bedrooms and a sitting area with a game table. The king bed downstairs was super comfy. 「House is really cute and inside very interesting and perfectly clean. We had several issues - internet too spotty to use (no work, no TV), no water by dock, neighborhood not great. No matches to light fire-pit and no wood made available. All restaurants and activities closed because considered off season (even hiking). Outdoors not clean-cushions wet or moldy - no comfortable seating on screened porch. Very quiet and we loved the birds but this trip was disappointing. I needed to work and could...
