「The apartment was as pictured and the terrace was lovely. There was no air conditioning but even more so no real windows/cross breeze so was very hot despite fans and it being cool outside. I'd booked for Varenna to be close to the town but this was 4km away so had to drive in and parking was super limited changing my plans several days. 」

The patio was also fabulous as we were able to eat breakfast and dinner out there each day. Communication with the property managers was good. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and I really appreciated all the little touches that made it feel welcoming (especially arriving to ice in the freezer). "We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice ."
