Comfortable apartment in a real Venetian area

Apartment located in CANNAREGIO DISTRICT, ony a few steps from the Jewish Ghetto, in a lively area plenty of typical restaurants and wine bars for locals where you can taste 'cicchetti' and spritz.
Cosy, bright and fully equipped. We have recently renovated it with the idea of creating a pleasant place for a romantic getaway.
It is extremely silent, being situated in a building overlooking a small inner garden.
It has an easy access both from Marco Polo Airport and from railway station.
Bright and recently renovated, it is composed of:
- a fully equipped kitchen
- a night area with a double bed
- a separated living space with an extra sofa bed
- a brand new bathroom with a large and confortable shower plate.
Our apartment is located within an easy walk from the S. LUCIA RAILWAY STATION.
Very close to the apartment you can also access the ACTV public water transport (the GUGLIE stop is at a 2 minute walk). From here you can get on the lines 4.1, 4.2, 5.1 and 5.2 through which you car reach many areas of the city, including S. Mark's Square.
The place is easily accessible also from MARCO POLO AIRPORT. The ORANGE LINE of the ALILAGUNA direct service from and to the airport is also available at the Guglie boat stop.

Thanks to Marco and his excellent directions we found the apt quickley. We had a very nice stay in Venice. The apartment was very close to everything, and contained everything we needed. Our host's suggestions of what to see really helped us out.We only had 1 full day and a half, so we crammed a lot of stuff in. Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We had a great stay! The apartment was easy to locate from the train station using Google maps and the host’s very clear instructions, and only took about 10-15 minutes walking. The apartment is in a perfect neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, yet far enough away from the main tourist areas so as not to feel too busy. That being said, we were easily able to walk everywhere during our stay. The apartment was quiet, clean, and a comfortable temperature. It had everything we needed! We would happily stay there again on our next trip to Venice!

difficult to find for first time

be prepared to haul you and your luggage about a mile and over several bridges with an average of 15 steps up and 15 steps down. which we did in the rain. and we are in our 70's but once there it is a very nice place We felt completely safe and enjoyed our stay All of Venice is like doing a corn maze complete with dead end paths as it was windy when we were there very few used the water transport and walking was the norm.

Perfect stay

Fantastic apartment in a quiet area with many shops and restaurants. The apartment is perfect for a solo traveler or couple who want to stay away from the tourist area yet a short walk to St Marks Square and other attractions. Communication with Marco was excellent and the checkin process was really easy. Definitely recommend it and will stay here when I return.

Perfect Place

We loved the comfortable apartment and location. We were a couple minutes away from restaurants and shops. The location was also quiet at night. The apartment was very clean and modern. Our daughter slept on pull out couch and the rain shower was great with nice water pressure. AC worked great as the days where warm and we loved the washing machine to clean some clothes. Would definitely would recommend. Marco was a great host and very responsive.

The apartment is lovely. It is tastefully decorated and much thought was given to make our stay comfortable. There is a full kitchen and the bathroom was very nice. It was a very secure place to stay. Our hosts communicated with us very well and were very helpful with our travel. Five stars!

Marvelous place to stay!

From the communications with my host, Marco, to my arrival at the apartment, where he greeted me, to the apartment itself, and finally my departure, the experience could not have been better. The apartment is located in Connareggio District in Venice. The first thing I learned on this, my initial trip to Venice, is that there is no bad place to stay and in fact, it’s actually nicer to stay in a quiet neighborhood than it is to stay in the most touristy areas, or on the Grand Canal, which, while it has interesting views, is never quiet. With respect to the apartment itself, it is up a flight of narrow stairs but, once inside, it is beautifully done. It features a small kitchen and eating area, and then a large room, separated by a floor to ceiling, bookcase, with the bedroom on one side And a living area on the other. The bathroom is wonderful! Too often showers in Italy are very small, but this one was roomy and luxurious! The apartment was well stocked with the basics. The neighborhood was very quiet, about a 20-minute walk from the train station, and using Google maps, it was pretty easy to navigate around. I could not recommend this property more highly for a couple or a solo traveler, which is what I was.

Great place. In a real neighborhood with real Venicians. Comfortable bed, good stove, washer, plenty of hot water. Marco is very accommodating and helpful. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Venice with comfort and style.

Great location

This apartment is wonderful. What a great location, close to much, but not in a super high traffic tourist area. Marco is very sweet, helpful, and caring. The apartment was clean, spacious, and safe. I highly recommend and we would stay here again!
