Good location, easy to catch the ferry from/to train station. Kind and helpful staff. Only issue is that there is no elevator and have to go through stairs.

Property is very convenient, clean and safe. The family apartment has a small kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, and sink. I would say it fits 4 people (one double bed and one expandable sofa). Reception is open only during certain hours so make sure you check that if you need to speak with someone. You will need cash for the city tax paid at the property. There are ways to check in/out contacless. Room looks like the pictures and the building is vintage (and authentic for the city). Location is next to an opera house so you can hear music at times but nothing disturbing. Family apartment is accessed by stairs so take that into consideration if you have accessibility issues.

I had various communications with the hotel before arriving as had questions about late check in, directions to the accommodation etc. I received prompt responses with detailed descriptions that helped answer my questions. The location of the accommodation was perfect. One street away from the water bus which was ideal for airport transfers, 5/10 minutes walk from St Marc’s square. A good landmark to head for to get back to your accommodation when the wandering takes you further afield. We had little interaction with staff whilst there but when we did they were pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that the room was a little cold on an evening but our stay was the beginning of October. We weren’t there long enough to speak to staff about it as I’m sure there would have been an easy fix but it didn’t bother us enough to say anything.

Super cute room! I thought it was cuter in person than in the pictures online. The room we were in was actually quite large, more than double a typical hotel room. It even had a kitchenette and table for 4. The inn is in walking distance of attractions, restaurants & coffee shops. Staff was great and answered all questions we had. They were also nice enough to hold our bags after we checked out until we needed to head to the airport. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

This place was one of the best authentic places I've ever stayed. It's built in 1600 and it literally transfers you to old Venetian times. The decor is antique but the bathroom is very modern and comfortable. Location is amazing everything is walkable. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it as an one if a king experience.

Staying at Locanda Barbarigo was like living in a Venetian home. It is actually a private property renting out rooms. We had the suite at the very top of the property. It was special. Only caveat is there is no elevator. But the staff is more than happy to help if needed. We chose this property because there is a small canel right outside the entrance so you can jump on a water taxi. It is also near the San Giglio vaporetto (water bus) station for easy hopping on the vaporetto. Great location not far from St. Mark and the Doge.

Great location in Venice

Very unique and interesting place to stay in a very good location of Venice. Customer service was excellent and they provided very clear and accurate information that made our stay very easy. Would definitely stay here again
