“This was an interesting place. it is not a typical hotel being a 'co-living' centre with several long stay options as well as short stays. It is to the north of the city centre but within easy reach of tram and bus. The room was clean, comfortable and while not luxurious had all that could be asked. There is no restaurant or bar but the Halle Bacalan is a 10 minute walk away with a range of food bars. Breakfast is self service and fine. The staff were friendly and helpful providing advice……

“As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful.
The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“Considering that a lot of people are using the same space, Whoo hostel is really very clean. What I love most is the staff; they are lovely. Overall my stay was great, I had enough privacy and felt welcomed. I suggest that they add something salty in the breakfast, and maybe provide an electric mosquito coil in the room, since on my second day there were a lot of mosquitoes I slept poorly.”

“The hotel is old but updated, although lack of a lift might be difficult if you're on an upper floor. No tea/coffee in room but the manager was gracious in allowing me to just have coffee in the morning. and breakfast was only continental but pastries and fruit were fresh. Hotel is on the right bank but the tram is very convenient and very close to the bridge so an easy walk to the left bank and shops etc. So a lot of "buts" but I was happy with my choice to stay there.”
