不滿：設施服務和住宿狀況

Yeah not a great experience. No staff after we checked in and another guests key was just left on the front desk??? Strange. A cot was left in the room.(which was already small). Bathroom was recently redone but the rest of the room was very dated. No elevator for anyone that can’t handle stairs. TV had a warning up about some weird charge. Glad I was only there for a night.

Beautiful guest house. Large room with view of a volcano and most comfortable bed of my entire stay in Iceland. Modern bathroom. Very convenient to ferry. Easy parking. Very nice but not bougie just how I like it!

The accommodation was clean and well equipped. There are 2 supermarkets nearby and the ferry is only a 5 minute walk away. I can recommend the guesthouse.

One night sleep near a volcano

One quick overnight stay. Staff was very accommodating for our early arrival. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to leave early for the ferry departure and weren't able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

Parfait. Nous avons eu un imprévu à cause du ferry et une arrivée très tardive, la réception nous a laisser les clés à disposition. Tout s’est très bien passé. Chambre propre et spacieuse.

This simple guesthouse was in a perfect location and was very clean and safe. We wanted extra pillows and they were brought to us. I appreciated having a couch to sit on, it's nice to have the extra seating area. Also appreciated the fridge in the hallway.

Bit disappointed

It was an unexpected stay because the ferry cancelled due to weather, wind. We booked online, arrived after 3pm (check in time), no one was there. We called two numbers and eventually someone came. The tv didn't work.

The breakfast was extremely minimal. The common areas such as hallways were very old and seemed dirty, very average/below average for the cost.

The ferry to the island was cancelled due to bad weather (8 Sept 2023). We called and emailed the hotel to explain we could not arrive per our reservation -- something they certainly would know. Hamar never answered or responded. In desperation, called Expedia for help the same day. Expedia called back the next day, informed that the hotel would not work with us or Expedia, and the hotel would still charge us as a no-show. (Since there were no doubt day visitors stranded on the island, would not surprise if Hamar ended up renting our room anyway). Beware.
