“What a unique place to stay when you're in the "Old South". We had a few good restaurants within walking distance but couldn't go anywhere but the Italian place three minutes up the street.”

“Location was excellent. Probably would be good if an instruction sheet for "older" guest about "hot spot" internet connection and heaters, etc. We were able to work it ok. The place felt real "homey" and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. Obviously floors had not been swept from the previous guests. The house is older which gives it great character but the small window units that cool the entire……

“First, the owner did not communicate the apartment number of the residence. We had to wait on the street while waiting for a reply. Then, when we went in the residence, the furniture was full of stains, a bed had plastic wrap around the box spring which indicates bed bugs, dirty wash rags and dishes in the sink, hairs on the bed, and list goes on. We left. Ate the cost of the stay and went directly to a hotel.”

“It was a great stay in a nice RV park with extremely easy access to Eagle Lake. I didn’t realize it was a camper (my fault), but it was very nice and peaceful. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and the scenery was fantastic.”

“Loved the location to Walnut Hill restaurant. The nieghbohood was quiet. The rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was beautiful. Facility was as described on the internet. The person I spoke with was very friendly. Wished for warmer weather so was beautiful sit on the porch.”

“The side of the duplex we rented was perfect. It’s in a great neighborhood convenient to everything we wanted to do in Vicksburg. Would stay there again if returning to the area.”

“Pros: Very responsive property team; impeccably clean; beautiful decor, perfect place for us to explore some Vicksburg history; lovely neighbors. Cons: the only places to sit where a day bed we had to crawl across or two metal, backless stools. Lovely to look at, but not ideal for people trying to complete book work on a deadline. ”

“Riverview is the best place to stay in Vicksburg the staff is friendly and can help in any situation. I was there for the crawfish boil they had with live music it was the BEST I ever attended. We definitely recommend staying here”
