"It's in a great location near a T stop and walkable to the Prudential Center and other cool shops on Newbury. The place smelled a little funky, and the room was a bit cramped (there was maybe 8 inches between the foot of the bed and the dresser). The breakfast was pretty sad, just a few packaged pastries and some apples."

"Second stay at this hotel, and we really like it more and more. Just feel the hotel paid attention to details for customers. Room: very clean and well organized with lots of drawers. Shower is hot. Toilet looks new. Bed is very comfortable, with extra blanket ready in the room. AC/heat is quiet and efficient. Nice amenities like modern TV, coffee machine with porcelain cups, 4 glass cups, (no paper cups), smooth hand soap, smart light control, and a nice decorated sofa (look at the metal buttons!) Hotel: great location to everywhere around Boston. Nice front desk. breakfast from the hotel is awesome with lots of choices. Omelettes with breads and fruits are well worth it. You get your own refillable teapot and coffee pot once ordered. Evening bar is warm with many drink options. Self parking is $46 overnight on the public garage below the hotel (convenient, no in/out privilege though - needing valet for that)"

"We’ve stayed here many times over the past four years. Typically exceptional service but you will get some spotty situations here and there. The rooms are just about in need of updating, especially the bathrooms. You can’t always get room service either. They don’t answer the phone. And we had an issue with a clogged tub and nobody ever came. But they did change our rooms to make it right. Norman the doorman is the absolute best. Take care of him!"

"Great property in a great location. Would have given 5 stars but hair dryer did not work nor did the in-room safe. We had 2 suitcases and it would have been nice to have a suitcase stand to place at least one on. Perfect size room for two people. Bathroom was very small but I didn’t mind at all. Super comfy bed and quiet street except for Friday night. Again, not a big deal. Close to the library, Trinity Church, Newbury St and even the public park. Several restaurants within walking distance as well. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We reserved a one bedroom because we were traveling with a toddler so we wanted the extra space. It wasn’t a ton of extra space but it was nice. The room seemed brand new after their renovation. The windows just looked at a brick wall but that’s fine. I hate that all hotels now only use sliding doors for bathrooms because I couldn’t keep my toddler out of the bathroom. Loved that It was pretty quiet, I didn’t hear doors slamming or neighbor rooms which is huge because I’m very noise sensitive. My only complaint for the room is that there’s no real blanket or comforter on the bed. Location was great being attached to a mall. Made it easy to use the walkways when it was too cold outside, and easy to grab a quick bite when needed. Used the pool once and it was fine."

"They didn't have room service, wifi, & you can't control the room temp. It's very unclear about parking that ended up costing $65. There was no complimentary breakfast. I ate dinner at the restaurant in the lounge & found out after I paid that there was a discount that should have been applied but it wasn't. I also forgot my hair straightener in my room & now having difficulty tracking it down. For the cost of the room I feel all these inconveniences are unnecessary & very disappointing."

"This hotel was incredibly cozy and relaxing. The room was quiet, making it easy to get a great night’s rest. The restaurant was outstanding, and every staff member was kind and accommodating. The location is perfect—close to so many great shops and restaurants. I’ll definitely be staying here again."

"Everything was great. My only complaint was there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. There was delicious free coffee in the lobby - which made up for it!"

"Great hotel. Location was perfect walking distance to Copley square, Boston commons, public gardens, Boston tea party, freedom trail, Quincy market etc. Staff were helpful; room comfortable, clean and spacious. Would definitely stay there again. Also literally 1 min to the Citizens Opera House and the Brattle Bookshop. Loved this hotel. Will be staying there again"
