"I thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Connaught. The staff were excellent and got to know guests very quickly. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner across the three nights and all were well made. Choice at breakfast was very good. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The location was handy for a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of Connaught Place. I would stay here again."

"Overall a pretty average hotel in a convenient location if you want to stay close to Old Delhi but not too close. The staff were all fantastic and friendly. Restaurant food was good with options. Overpriced laundry service and any extras."

"Room was Non Smoking but was filled with tobacco odour. But later they changed the room Check-in staff was very rude and weirdly unfriendly Rooms are little cramped. Tamara staff was good 👍"

"Room was clean, shower had good pressure and it was relatively quiet considering the volume outside. Staff was helpful, easy check in and check out. Only downside, both me and my husband got horribly sick from the food after our first meal there (didn't eat anywhere else, it was our first meal after arriving in India)and have now spent the last 3 days with bad diarrhea and vomiting."

"Just to be clear the area where the hotel is located it’s not ideal, since it is in an hiding alley. The area is also not attractive since the path is mostly mud especially when it rains. Also consideration if you are claustrophobic be aware there are no windows in the rooms "

"I stayed here with my partner for a few days to explore New Delhi and we loved the Lalit. It was a great hotel that was centrally located in New Delhi so we had easy access to a lot of our sites. The on-site food was varied and very good and was our go-to for breakfast. I would happily stay here again!"

"It's a classic hotel with modern fixtures, and excellent restaurant with bar. It's located in an older and busy neighborhood. Maybe that's why tour groups are bused in for lunch or dinner from modern more familiar hotels who shy away from the unfamiliar. The staff provided excellent service from housekeeping to arranging individual trips."
