Excellent Apartment

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. The apartment is a real home from home with everything thought of to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The terrace is spectacular, a view you could never tire of, we watched the fabulous sun sets and even sat through a short lightening storm! Our first trip to Portugal but we will definitely go back, hopefully to Carlos' fabulous apartment. The village is beautiful and the locals are very welcoming and friendly, a short walk to our café for morning coffee at only 1.50 Euro's for both of us! Carlos is a fabulous host (even collecting us from the airport), sharing his vast knowledge about the area and travel details for visiting the surrounding areas. Sea view and billiards

The apartment was pervaded by a damp, musty smell when we arrived, clearly had not been used for some time. It improved after leaving the terrace doors open for a week. Basically, the apartment is clean and spacious, but cluttered. The cupboards and every horizontal surface are filled with the owner's personal stuff, there is really no space for guests to put their clothes etc. The living room is dominated by a huge dining/billiard table. The owner is very helpful and responsive, the weak wifi was upgraded while we were there and is now really good.A highlight is the large sunny terrace with great sea-views, and the short walk to the beach.Vila Cha is not a tourist centre. Even though it is close to the Metro, the airport and supermarkets, it has retained a rustic, original charm. We really liked it..

Haben uns wohl gefühlt

Die Wohnung incl.großer Dachterrasse bietet für 2 Personen viel Platz für einen angenehmenen Aufenthalt.Leider war das Wetter bei unserem Aufenthalt öfter schlecht, sodaß wir die große Dachterrasse leider kaum nutzen konnten. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und auch sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Carlos hat uns sogar angeboten die Wohnung einmal während der zwei Wochen zu reinigen - ohne Aufpreis ! .Allerdings ist das Haus u.auch Wohnung incl.Einrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die nun anstehende Sanierung der Dachterrasse wird sich hier sehr positiv auswirken. Wir haben ansonsten wohl gefühlt.

Super nette Gastgeber - tolle Sonnenuntergänge

Wir waren 12 Tage in Vila Cha. Das Gebäude, in dem sich die Wohnung befindet, wirkt nicht gerade einladend, aber in der Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Auf dem (großen)Balkon habe ich jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang über dem Atlantik genossen. Obwohl sie selbst nicht in Portugal waren, haben Luisa und Carlos immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und haben super Tipps gegeben für Restaurants und Sightseeing. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Good holidays for two weeks

The apartment was very clean and tidy, everything was as described. The terrace with sea view is wonderful! Also the short walk to the beach! Carlos is very friendly, responds quickly and is helpful. You can use two bicycles, but you should know that the roads in the village are not good for cycling as they are not paved. The house is very noisy and some of the neighbors have very loud dogs that constantly bark very loudly. The village is small and cozy, but there is not much in the village itself. Super Aufenthalt in Vila Cha

Wohnung wie beschrieben, während unseres Besuchs schön ruhig wie wir es wollten, alles sauber und komplett eingerichtet, Highlight für uns war die Dachterrasse mit freiem Blick auf den Atlantik direkt in den Sonnenuntergang. Alles in allem genau wie wir es wollten, können uns sehr gut vorstellen wieder hierher zu kommen.

séjour très agréable

beau logement avec vue mer depuis la terrasse. petits commerces de proximité et restos appréciés. voiture indispensable pour visiter vallée du Douro, Braga etc... par contre pour se rendre à Porto, prendre le métro c'est l'idéal (environ 30 minutes de transport). Terrasse très agréable

Vue sur la mer et bruit des vagues . Nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la terrasse. Accès rapide en voiture au supermarché, à l’autoroute ou au metro Un très jolie sentier de randonnée longe le bord de mer.

Perfekte Ferienwohnung, nah am Meer

Die Wohnung ist super geeignet, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Porto. Sie ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet, unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Das beste ist natürlich die Dachterrasse mit Hängematte und wunderschönem Meerblick! Die Metrostation kann mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreicht werden, um Porto stressfrei besuchen zu können. Der Strand ist toll für lange Spaziergänge und auch im Sommer, wenn das Wetter passt, sehr gut zum Baden geeignet. Es gibt viele Cafés und kleinen Restaurants am Strand und in den Orten. Die Kommunikation und der Check-in mit Carlos war sehr einfach und er war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Super Apartment

Das Apartment ist wirklich toll. Sehr groß, mit Liebe eingerichtet, sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Es fehlt an nichts. Man könnte hier auch ganzjährig wohnen. Es liegt in einem Reihenhaus an einer kurzen Straße, die direkt zum Strand führt. Hier ist auch der sehr gute Bäcker ansässig. Die Terrasse mit Meerblick lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der gesamte, sehr kleine Ort wird hauptsächlich von Einheimischen bewohnt. Es gibt ein paar nette kleine Kneipen, sehr preiswert. Wer Trubel möchte, fährt nach Porto oder Braga. Da wird mächtig was geboten, alles vor schönen Kulissen. Und der Fluss in Porto ist natürlich der Hauptanziehungspunkt.

Appartement a la mer

Appartement tres agreable a vivre. Grande terrasse avec vie sur mer.et tout les commerces a pieds... vraiment très bien. Carlos fut 1 hôte adorable et disponible.merci a lui. Je recommande vila chã. Ps: il faut louer 1 voiture si vous voulez visiter le portugal.

Bonnes vacances dans l'ensemble mais déçus par le climat du nord

Bel appartement bien équipé et fonctionnel. Grande terrasse avec vue sur la mer, agréable quand il fait beau. A proximité de la plage et des petits commerçants. Voiture indispensable sauf si vous aimez marcher. Il y a 3.8 km pour accéder au métro. Tarifs des taxis sont chers. Concernant le temps nous avons eu 5 jours de soleil sur 15 jours de vacances avec vent glacial, brouillard et pluie. Impossible de se baigner car la mer était dangereuse.

Relaxing Break.

Thank you Carlos for letting us stay in your lovely apartment, balcony was sublime with a fantastic view of the ocean, local restaurants were amazing and so cheap 🤗 hire a car and you can’t go wrong, lovely towns north and south of fishing village, will never forget the quality of the Fish and especially the Steak at Chavilla restaurant, superb!! Carlos ist ein grossartiger Gastgeber. Das Appartement ist genauso wie beschrieben, super. Die Dachterasse ist fantastisch. Bars und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Absolut empfehlenswert.
