Wonderful home with all the amenities

We stayed here as a family, grandparents, children, nieces, and all. We were able to enjoy one another with enough space to spread out and the children to play. There was something for everyone. The location had privacy but was close to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Banner Elk.

Great House

The house was beautiful, the downstairs bedroom is very cold and the fireplace takes a little for it to come on. Just read the instructions. The dining room table upstairs was way too big but it was beautiful. There’s plenty of cooking supplies, the rooms were very roomy. The upstairs rooms have a shared bathroom which felt a little like a dorm room. The worst part was the drive up & down the mountain. It’s also confusing to get to the house. So be sure to remember your turns. It’s very very dark at night, so be very careful. We brought plenty of food and water so we didn’t really leave the house except for essentials. There are plenty of towels: linen, they provided toiletries as well. The outside trash can is a little tricky too because of wildlife, so be sure to cover it back up. We loved our stay, it was an amazing family experience. Thank you so much!

It was very cozy. It was nice couldn’t ask for anything better. We had snow about 3 to 5 inches. It was beautiful. I guess the only thing bad I could say is our stay wasn’t long enough.

Great Multi-family retreat

The types of rooms and location of rooms made this an ideal place for a multi family get together. All kids loved the house as well as adults. Centrally located with quick acces to Boone and Grandfather Mtn areas. Communication was impeccable with easiest checkin check out procedures of any previous rental. Thanks for a great weekend!

Thankful to the owners who let people rent their house.

Perfect Family Get-Away

We came with my wife's sister and brother-in-law, plus their kids, for a mountain get-away during the kids' spring break. The cabin had everything we needed, and was in a prime location, with a golf course less than 5 minutes away. Close enough to town for convenient grocery store trips, but removed enough you really experienced the tranquility of the mountain

Good location and nice home. We had several issues....dishwasher did not operate, drain in upstairs tub did not drain properly, upstairs toilet ran constantly, not enough towels and wash clothes, no dish towels, kitchen utensils and oven mitts unclean....with that being said Blue Ridge Property responded quickly to our immediate needs. That was greatly appreciated. We rent vacation homes often, this home just needs a little more attention......

We loved the house but it was a good thing I arrived before everyone else because I had to clean and sweep floors. Not exactly how I planned on starting my vacation. The house needed to have a good cleaning before anyone stayed. You could write your name in the dusk on the end tables. I would stay again but would definitely check to make sure it was clean.
