Every day we had a glass of wine at the lovely bar, met the friendly servers as well as other travelers. We stepped out the door every morning and were just steps away from the Duomo and Da Vinci museum and stores and fun outdoor places to eat. Real linen bedding! Chocolates on our pillows! "

"A beautiful old building with lovely gardens and staff who were very helpful and courteous. The hotel was in a peaceful location positioned on a hill above the town. It was only a 30 minute walk along small lanes, offering amazing views of Tuscan countryside and the city of Florence into the city centre. There was also a regular shuttle from the hotel to the city. Breakfast was excellent with freshly squeezed juice, plenty of fresh fruit including persimmon and pomegranate, as well as an assortment of cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, breads and home baked cakes. "
