“We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine.”

“Marco and Daniela are both amazing! Not only did they offer to pick us up and drop us off to the train station, they also offered to drop us to Varenna one of the days! We were welcomed with snacks and Prosecco at the apartment, which also had all of the amenities you will ever need. Could not fault this stay, and looking forward to visiting again! ”

“If we could rate it a 10 we would. Claudia was a gracious host. It was right on the water. We loved watching the baby swans and countless water birds. All the fittings in the apartment were high-end luxury. The only downside was that there was no place close for a coffee, drink or snack. That’s not the host’s fault! We walked up and down interesting cobblestone paths to the city center for a great dinner. About 15 minutes walk but steep. Great way to walk off a pasta meal. All in all, the place……

“We had a fantastic stay at the Bellagio penthouse apartment! We had 4 to our party and the rooms were very comfortable for sleeping. The views from this apartment were magnificent! You could spend all day just looking out at the mountains and at Lake Como. The owner made us feel at home with a complimentary bottle of wine and nice snacks. The kitchen was well stocked. The refrigerator had water and other drinks. The apartment was in a perfect location to all the shops and restaurants and so……

“Our stay was lovely just outside of Bellagio. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with plugs, local information etc and was spotlessly clean. A ferry pickup, supermarket, park, beach and several restaurants were within easy walking distance. We hope to get to use the inviting pool for a future visit during warmer weather.”

“Plenty of room for everyone and stunning views of Lake Como! We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of exploring Varenna and Menaggio. Comfortable beds, and Cinzia was a delight to work with! She provided restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We can't wait to return someday!”

“Euro 180 is charged for private boat trip but no English speaking guide, no welcome drink or fruit basket in room considering 5 star and nearly 500 euro rate! Breakfast is good. Gym room is opened 9 or 10am, not designed for morning excercise purpose! Room reserved considered to be garden view but in actual, funny hotel back of house view! No show for one room, no consideration for partial refund or extend for future use- waste!”

“Attic was a bit dusty but other than that it is a beautiful property very well located. Would definitely stay there again.”

“If you are traveling with a car, this hotel would be a great one for visiting Milan/Southern Switzerland. Everything is perfect, it looks like newly renovated with spacious rooms. We arrived the hotel very late, around 9:30pm, while the restaurant still opens and the quality of food is good. We will definitely visit again.”

“Ein wunderschönes Hotel in echt italienischem Stil. Gutes Essen am Abend und ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Im Zimmer Nr. 217 sollte ein Schreiner die Badezimmertüre unten etwa 2 Millimeter abhobeln damit sie nicht auf dem Boden schleift und klemmt. Ist aber kein wirkliches Problem, v.a. nicht nachdem wir die Hornisse in unserem Zimmer eingefangen und draussen freigelassen haben.... Kleinigkeiten halt! Aber trotzdem supergeniales Hotel mit Gratisparkplatz. ”

“The Pros out way the cons but the cons should definitely be stated in the description of the property especially if you have children that will be using the bedroom upstairs. Pros: Perfect location, breath taking views, quaint apartment, grocery store and Michelin Star restaurant within walking distance. Cons: You rent an apartment but your second bedroom is on the 3rd floor and THERE ARE OTHER RENTERS!! So if you think the children can sleep upstairs (without a lock or attached bathroom) just……
