“Location is perfect - close to the National Park entrance or a short drive to Pigeon Forge. The kids love playing in the huge gentle sloping yard. The cabin has everything we need and lots of space for our family gathering of 10. We love the amazing mountain view from the porch swing! We come back every year!”

“We love the Painted Door cabins! This is our second time staying at one of them (first one was the green door). The location is perfect -- so close to the park. And the hot tub was a real treat after a long hike in the park.Our only suggestion is about the thermostat. Maybe clearer directions about how to adjust? It was VERY cold in the cabin when we arrived -- uncomfortably cold -- and it took several hours for the cabin to warm up to a comfortable temperature. But overall a wonderful place to……

The cabin had everything we needed, we had supplies in the car we didn’t even need to bring in. Everything was clean and all ready for our arrival. Bill was so helpful & kind, he answered our questions quickly. There is plenty shopping and activities nearby, but we were looking for restful, quiet time which we found there too.
