“Value for money good location”

“A nice place to stay for 2 nights during a family visit to the area. Check-in was simple and quick and the unit was cleaned daily. Taps in the bathroom need new washers and some light bulbs not working.”

“The guest parking was a problem. The parking areas under the units was designed for two cars but in our case all but one only held one car parked in the middle of the two spot parking. Given the Lodge part is next to a bar and dinning any spare parking was quickly filled up. We had a real problem finding car park.”

“Beautiful spot, lovely cosy unit, very welcoming with fresh fruit and treats. Only a wee problem, 7am we heard a bit of noise through the wall from the hosts house which after late night and wanting a sleep in wasn’t ideal. But overall a good experience.”

“My husband and I had a lovely time away. Location is perfect. We settled in (check in was super easy) and then headed over for dinner at Jin Jins (great portion sizes). We then wandered down to the movie theatre and surrounding area for an evening stroll then headed back to the accomodation for a few drinks in the outdoor area in front of the fire pit. In the morning the markets were on so again we strolled down the road, had breakfast and meandered around the markets before beginning our trip……

“The location is perfect, the bed and furniture very comfortable, and Deborah and Rainer were patient with my pre-visit questions and graciously accommodating to my needs. Rainer introduced himself soon after my arrival. He let me know that he'd be putting up a fence directly outside of my cabin. He was so quiet that I wouldn't have known he'd been there if he hadn't told me. Having stayed in Orewa rentals over the years, when visiting local family, this one compared very nicely to the generally……
