"I arrived at the hotel at 5am and approached the large red doors to the property. The large windows in the lobby were esthetically pleasing when checking in at the digital counter. The checking was easy using name and confirmation number. Another family was present and struggled to check in and watched my process to aid them as well. Towards the end of my check in process the computer failed to provide my keys but with a quick ring of the bell, a staff member appeared and provided assistance. Ishihara was friendly and efficient. I was in my room moments later. The room"

The Royal Park Hotel Maihama Resort Tokyo Bay

"The reason we stayed here was due to the fact that we knew that we were not planning on being at the hotel and wanted to be near Disney for a short period of time. We included breakfast and given the price of the hotel it was worth it. My 3 year olds breakfast was free and there were high chairs and boosters available at the restaurant. The rooms are spacious for a family of 4 with young children. They have potty seats that you can use during your stay and there was a step stool in the room which made it very child friendly. They also have pajamas and toiletries available during your stay. The listing says there are no elevators but there are elevators. There is a shuttle that runs frequently to Disneyland and Disney Sea during the beginning and end of day and less frequently throughout the day. We had no troubles finding the location of the shuttle with the detailed map. There is a Lawson in the hotel which is convenient for snacks and convenient store meals. If you want to find a proper dinner I would recommend going to Ikspiari near Maihama station. While there aren’t that many direct buses during the evenings you can walk from the Disneyland location to Ikspiari to shop and eat. That is probably the one recommendation is for there to also be more frequent buses to Maihama station throughout the day. On a day that is wet or hot it adds a convenient amenity. Lastly the hotel next door has a spa that can be used for the day. We didn’t go but it seemed convenient."

"Rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Check in was fairly busy and chaotic. Location has a lot of stripper type places but also places to eat and gambling is big at this location. Seems like 15 mins to harajuku and team labs and shibuyu crossing give or take...godzilla head not accessible and no reason given. No breakfast or buffet just a sizzler on site which is hilarious to see."

"The hotel is a good choice, especially for a layover or transit stay, as it is directly connected to Haneda Airport and offers excellent convenience. The rooms are functional, although a bit on the small side, which is typical for airport hotels. The bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship bathroom (compact but well-designed and equipped with everything you need). One of the highlights is the attached shopping mall, which has a great selection of souvenirs and makes last-minute shopping very easy. Another pleasant surprise was the laundry facilities. They are excellent, with plenty of machines, clean facilities, and an efficient setup. It was a nice amenity to have available. The only downside for me was the breakfast. While the quality was fine, I found the selection repetitive and it didn't quite match my food preferences. Also, although breakfast is advertised as running until 10:00 a.m., the staff begin clearing away the food around 9:30 a.m. This means you can stay seated and continue eating until 10:00, but if you arrive after 9:30, many items may no longer be available. Because of this, I'll likely skip the breakfast on my next stay and eat elsewhere. Overall, I would stay here again because of its unbeatable location, direct airport access, excellent laundry facilities, and convenience."
