"The room was clean and spacious. Room temperature was easy to control and set. Shower/tub was awesome, lots of water pressure. Room was very quiet and the mattress was firm, but comfortable."

"Compared to last year, this stay was not a pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. I was here for a work trip, so reliable Wi-Fi was extremely important. Unfortunately, the connection did not work properly and kept cutting off during our team calls. When we informed the front desk, we were told there was nothing they could do. Additionally, the phone in the room rang randomly twice over the weekend at around 7am, which was very frustrating when trying to rest after long working days. Communication was also difficult at times, as the English proficiency of the staff was limited, which made it hard to get messages across. Might be the last time here"

"Most of the staff was friendly. Some laughed at me in the elevator, not sure why. Hotel was doing construction on the second floor, as a result the amenities were less than great. Couldn’t find the pool and spa without wandering around. View was amazing from the area, room view was bland. Overall not worth the price."

"Very disappointing experience at check-out. We called the concierge to request a late check-out and were told it was okay. At no point during the call was any fee mentioned. However, when we checked out, the front desk told us we had to pay 2,000 yen. When we explained that the charge had never been mentioned, the staff member who answered the phone insisted that he had told us, which was simply not true. After some discussion the fee was waived. Only after that did the staff show a small printed note in the check-in folder saying late check-out may incur a 2,000 yen charge — the first time this was pointed out to us. The amount itself is small, but the lack of transparency and the way the staff handled the situation was very disappointing. We have stayed at Mitsui hotels many times when visiting Japan and recommended them to family and friends, but after this experience we will not be staying at this hotel again."

"This is my second time stay in APA. I like the spa provided and the location is convenient that is just 4 station away from Tokyo station. I will definitely come back if visiting Tokyo next time."

"Had to take a smoking room. I’ve stayed in some before when there was no other option and it wasn’t terrible. But the smoking rooms here are BY FAR THE WORST. Everything else about the hotel was great, but if you book late and they only have smoking rooms left, be sure you’re prepared. "

"This hotel is located in the middle of a green space which is nice in terms of quiet and being in a place that feels separated from the city. That being said, there are no 7-Eleven or convenience store close by, but a wonderful restaurant and wonderfully helpful staff and concierge."

"Hotel was great for our short 4 day trip. It was not too far from Haneda Airport and major sites in Tokyo. Next to a train station. Restaurants in walking distance. 7-11 access was great for the late night snacks and drinks my family desired. Overall, great hotel. "
