Stunning lakefront home with a boathouse, private dock, firepit and lake views
10/10 Excellent
"This property is amazing! It is located on a small Peninsula so that you have complete privacy. The layout of the house is truly flexible, everyone has their own space in their own privacy. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever want, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the living spaces are incredible. There is an eagle nest on the island across from the beach. It was so amazing to watch them fly around and feed their baby. They actually flew over the house and circled us. We were screaming! To top that off, there are deer that will swim across to the island and they leave the shore 30 feet away from you! It happened twice and we were so delighted! There are water toys and chairs and chaise lounges. Anything you could ever want. Plenty of parking, easy to find and extremely clean. Muriel was wonderfully responsive. What a fabulous, fabulous vacation spot!"

"This was our first time staying at the Pine River Pond House. The house was clean and comfortable and the lake was beautiful. Dale was very responsive and helpful. My family had a great week in NH."
Peaceful Lakefront Retreat with Views
8/10 Good
"Very quaint cabin in an excellent location on the lake. We experienced several issues while at the cabin and our host Sarah was quick to respond and address the issues. We look forward to returning next year. If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the woods on a lake away from the craziness going on in this world, then this is the place for you. Sarah the host is wonderful and quick to meet your needs."
Lovell Lake Rustic Camp w/200' Private Waterfront
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Lovell Lake and would absolutely return. The camp has one of the best views on the lake, with breathtaking sunsets every evening. One of our favorite moments was sitting on the screened porch in the morning, listening to the loons—it was truly magical. The lake itself is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and a sandy bottom. Fishing was fantastic; it seemed like every cast brought in a fish! This is an ideal spot for families with children and pets, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and the water. The only thing I would note is that the property description could be a little clearer about the terrain. The yard slopes toward the lake and has exposed rocks and tree roots, and some guests may find access to the water challenging. It wasn't an issue for us, but someone with mobility limitations, such as an older family member, might have difficulty navigating the yard or getting into the lake.David was a great host. He was friendly, responsive, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he made us feel welcome throughout our stay."
Sandy Beach Oasis on Lake Ivanhoe
8/10 Good
"It was a relaxing week and my two grandchildren made swift friends with the children next door. They enjoyed the lake tremendously. Swimming and going out in the paddle boat, They learned to do flips off of the floating dock. A neighbor gave us a handful of sparklers so that was fun. If you’re looking for a true, no frills, back in the day lake stay then you will be ok. No dishwasher. Stove front was filthy. Inside of screen door filthy. Tiny bathroom, especially the shower. We are tall people and the shower was a challenge. I get that it’s an old, traditional, probably turn of the 20th century lake cabin, however, there needs to be a little more attention paid to its cleanliness. Sitting on the sofa you can see dirt where the cleaner hasn’t taken the time to run the mop under it. Also, the back deck light doesn’t work and apparently hasnt worked for a long time. And it’s too bad because the deck is lovely!! The table umbrella was completely busted and apparently has been for a while. The neighbor let us borrow one. It’s a quiet lake and our time was spent relaxing."
Stunning lakefront home with private dock, deck, firepit, and lake view
8/10 Good
"Location was top notch for our family of fishermen. Our boys caught plenty of fish (small and large mouth bass, bluegill, and pickerel) right from the docks and from our kayaks that we brought with us. The pond was large and great for exploring on kayaks, especially with all of the islands. The water was clear and great for swimming directly from the beach area on the property. There is no AC in the cottage, but plenty of fans. It was pretty steamy on the second floor since the king room only had one skylight for ventilation. We rigged up some of the fans to draw in cooler air from the queen room across the hall and it was fine. One of the showers did not work upon our arrival but someone came to fix it the second day we were there. Downstairs bathroom appeared to have some water damage and black mold on the walls and shower curtains. Deck furniture was pretty grimy and could have used a wash but we didn’t bother spending much time up there since the water was so great! Our kids asked to come back next year before we even left to head home. Great location with excellent fishing!"
