「First appearance was off putting, the building is old and in need of some 'curb appeal' and repainting. The room was very clean but very dark decor. The breakfast was excellent and staff friendly 」

「Loved the quaint B&B and the very friendly staff. The food in the pub was great. Best Fish & Chips we've had in the UK. Our room was small but comfortable. Glad we had beautiful sunny weather but it made it a little too warm for us in the room, but of course we aren't expecting A/C in a classic building. We love the charm & character and wouldn't have it any other way. 」

「It was a great stop for us in our walk in the area . Staff very kind and friendly , food tasty (we had the homemade curry ) . Drinks were also good we had a draught beer and cider. It’s lovely to find people taking on a business and improving it . We didn’t use it but there is a large car park and garden at the rear 」

「We had a very comfortable room for one night. The staff were very welcoming. We had dinner in the pub which was nice, but not exceptional. Breakfast was lovely although you had to decide the night before what you were going to eat. 」
