Lovely cottage, very well presented and clean.
Lovely cottage, very well presented and clean. Travel cot was provided for our baby which was great. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and lots of toys which was a great touch. The village has a small but very well stocked shop with lots of variety. There are two pubs, the Royal Oak which was great for food and the Drax Arms which was a friendly pub with a good selection of drinks, they are under new management and have started serving food which appeared to be very good value (we never ate there). We parked on the main road that runs through Bere Regis and occasionally at the church at the top of the road, no overly convenient but we were aware of this before staying so wasn't an issue. The location was a perfect, allowing us to travel to Wareham, Lullworth, Kimmeridge, Swanage, Studland, Poole with ease and returning to the cosy cottage in the evening. The host was lovely and answered all of our questions promptly and cared about our stay and comfort.Highly recommended.
