  • Situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the picturesque Dorset village of West Lulworth, this light and airy cottage is an ideal base for couples and smaller families exploring an unforgettable area known for its historic sites, tranquil views, and glorious coastline. This is a fantastic base for walkers exploring the trails of the famous Jurassic Coast, with the stunning Lulworth Cove just half a mile away, and Stair Hole, Fossil Forest, and Durdle Door all within 1.5 miles. The area has a wealth of stunning beaches, with Worbarrow Bay, Ringstead Bay, and Pondfield Cove all within 11 miles. The popular market town of Wareham (8.5 miles) features some great places to eat and drink. Other popular local attractions and landmarks include The Blue Pool, Tyneham Village, Clouds Hill, Thomas Hardy’s Cottage, and Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park (all within 15 miles).


    Before stepping into this beautiful cottage, take a moment to appreciate its traditional, thatched roof. Head inside and find that the rural charm continues in the form of exposed wooden beams, countryside touches, and sloping ceilings. Kick off walking boots in the welcoming hallway, then walk through to the country-style kitchen to find everything needed for cooking up Dorset feasts. Carry your plates through the double doors and into the chic dining space, where you can gather around the wooden table as you plan the next day’s adventures over dinner. Afterwards, unwind in the sumptuous lounge where soft furnishings are arranged around a Smart TV for lazy evenings in. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room and a separate WC. At the end of each busy day away, head up to the first floor and choose from three restful bedrooms, all with sloping ceilings and sweet rural views. These rooms include a master king-size with an en-suite shower room, and two double rooms served by a well-equipped family bathroom.


    Swing open the patio doors from the lounge and step out into the peaceful, enclosed garden. Bordered by fencing and shrubbery, this sun-soaked space is perfect for morning coffees and al fresco evening meals thanks to the furnished patio space that awaits.
