“We cooked and ate all of our meals here. We had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable We brought a dog who was both welcomed and happy here. We enjoyed the warm welcome of the town of Lubec Our host was easy to communicate with and responsive. ”

“Our retreat was awesome with gorgeous views of the bay, eagles and other magnificent birds plus 3-4 seals who visited us daily. Along with nearby hiking trails we drove into Acadia National Park which was unfortunately very crowded so we hurried back to our very own peninsula to enjoy the solitude, watching the tides roll in and out. Definitely recommend our location to others seeking peacefu gorgeous escape .”

“The host was absolutely amazing. We had a little hiccup in the beginning but was fixed immediately. The response was immediate to rectify the issue. It was a completely unforeseen problem a massive storm the day before arrival knocked out the power and the heat pump wouldn't start. It was honestly amazing to be able to look at the stars in the sky. It had breathtaking views from the private beach. It's only around 30 minutes to the border. You can actually see Canada from the back porch. It's……

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels……

“Beautiful spot with fabulous water views even from the bedroom. Easy access to hiking and biking trails. WE took a day trip to Eastport, went on a whale-watching boat with Wonderful friendly local community. Lobster fishermen are right next door and Moosabec mussels is right down the road, it doesn't get fresher than that!”
