「We had visited the Milbridge area several times in the past but this was our first stay at SeaSmoke Cottage. As described, the views of Flat Bay were stunning. The cottage was very comfortable. Although the oven had to be replaced during our stay, this did not hamper our enjoyment as we were able to use the stovetop and microwave. 「I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. 「A well-maintained cottage in a lovely area. Downeast Maine is away from main spots, and the cottage is well off the highway and quiet. It's a lovely kayaking spot, though there is no access at low tide. 」
