Great stay in Villa Ridge!

Loved the Setter Haus, thank you for having us! It was cozy, clean, and the doggie decore was delightful. Close enough to civilization and all the amenities but removed enough to feel like a little getaway, exactly what we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Villa Ridge.

Setter House

We had a lovely stay at Setter House while attending the USASA Australian Shepherd national agility competition. The dogs were very comfortable in the house and it had everything we needed for a long weekend away from home.

Second Stay

This was our second stay at Setter Haus while participating in a dog show at Purina Farms. It was every bit as enjoyable as our first. The house is well maintained and spotless. Everything works as it should. It is evident the owners take pride in their property. They provide a lot of information about the home and the area prior to arrival. We will definitely stay at Setter Haus when we are in the area again.

Great for a family getaway

Super cute and spacious home. The favorite spot for our group was definitely the side porch. The area is clean and feels very safe. My only complaint, and I wouldn’t even call it a complaint really, was the cleanliness of the downstairs area was not great. The upper half of the house was fabulous. Decorated nicely and clean. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect fit

Came for family reunion in the area. House was perfect for us. Love the side deck and the front porch. Quiet, clean and yet 5 kids 4 and under had a blast. Thank you for the hospitality!

Nationals at Purina Farms

The property was as described! We were in the area for our National Dog Show at Purina Farms Event Center for a week. The location was perfect distance to Purina. There was ample green space to walk the dogs. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this property and will be staying again in the future!

Weekend Stay for Nearby Bridal Shower

We had a group of 6 in town for a bridal shower and Setter Haus was a good size for our needs. The patio was nice for an evening or morning chat. Great location near many vineyards for exploring. The property managers were proactive in communicating and also very responsive when we needed bedding for the sofa bed. Would stay here again. ☺️

My friend & I stayed at Setter Haus during a dog show at Purina Farms. It was highly recommended by a friend & we were not disappointed! The home was lovely & much more spacious than pictures appeared. It was a quick, easy commute to Purina, & various shopping & groceries were nearby, as well. It was very quiet, & we were very pleased. The staff was so prompt & friendly with replies regarding any questions we had. This is how all VRBO properties should be!

Stayed for a family wedding

Everything was clean! Deck had a lot of leaves! The bedrooms downstairs were small with no closets and no curtains on the window! There was only one medium frying pan and one small hard to cook for everyone! Also there were bees by an outer building two boys got stung!

Truly Peaceful

This place is set in a quiet rural neighborhood on a sloped lot with mature trees. We each had our own bedroom (with a very comfy queen sized bed and upgraded linens/pillows) and found the place to be well laid out and spacious. There are few places in this area that can accommodate 4+ separate sleeping quarters (for those larger groups/families/friends who want to stay "together" but not packed up like sardines.) Communication was superb from pre-booking to beyond checkout. If you are traveling to this area for events at Purina Farms, don't forget to ask for their Purina competitors discount (better have your proof of entry!) I came upon this place online and checked out the reviews, and was a bit skeptical bc there were so many guest reviews and all so high, but honestly, this place *IS* a great find in this area whether or not you are traveling with dogs. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Setter Haus

The Setter Haus was a lovely and relaxing place to stay. The property has a huge well maintained yard and the house itself was spacious and and very clean. Nat and Tyann were very accommodating hosts . We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Best home away from home!!!

Setter House is the best “Home away from Home”! Absolutely love coming back to this home! The owners Tyann and Nat and property manager Nick are the BEST HOSTS around! They definitely know how to make you feel at home! I highly recommend this home if you’re heading to Purina Farms or just visiting Gray Summitt!

Setter Haus

This was a great place to stay for a family. Lots of yard space as well. Private area. Decorated very nice. The only complaint I have is that the oven upstairs did not work, as well as 2 of the gas burners. So we had to use the downstairs oven. Someone did come by to look at the problem but they were not able to fix either problem. We would stay here again but want to make sure these problems were resolved.

Showed dogs at purina farms

We stayed for a week while we were showings our dogs at purina farms. It was so nice to be able to relax in the evenings and cook our own meals . Loved the deck and the grill . The yard was nice to be able to setup exercise pens so the dogs could relax also. So much better than a hotel . The house was spotless and the beds so very comfortable. Will definitely be back if in the area . Thank you so much.

Best home away from home!

The homes owned by Tyann and Nat along with their property manager Nick, are the best kept secret gems of the area surrounding Purina Fsrms and Winery’s! They make you feel at home the minute you walk through their doors! We had a large group that took all three homes on the Setter House property. It’s was wonderful for everyone! This was our second time staying here and it will not be our last!!! Don’t pass this up! Check on the other properties these folks own also! You won’t be sorry!!

Perfect bridesmaids stay

My daughter stayed at this lovely home with her bridesmaids the night before her wedding at Riverbend Chapel. The bridesmaids also stayed there following the Friday wedding. We had the hair stylists and makeup people out to the house. It worked beautifully. This home was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The girls enjoyed being able to share great quality time together in such comfortable surroundings. The hosts were great and ok’d all our plans in advance. Home was spotless and easy to find following map on site. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us for our very special days.
