Great location and access

This was a great place for a business traveler (and also for family vacations, but I was on a work trip). Lots of space, amenities, and access to parking and in-unit laundry was a MUST for my trip. Walking distance to a Whole Foods and other restaurants and coffee shops is also a huge plus. I could see I-395 from my living room to determine traffic and commuting times. All in all, a great location and property if you need a longer-term place to stay (a month or more).

Terrible communication!

Terrible check in process… Almost had to find alternative arrangements after I flew my family of 5 across the country . Staff at front desk of the property would not give me a key on arrival, requesting instead that I “verify” my reservation with Global Luxury Suites. When you call Global Luxury Suites, you cannot reach an actual human to assist you. A VRBO rep spent 30+ min also trying to assist me when the front desk of the property suddenly discovered our reservation! Very frustrating! Furthermore, the apartment was only marginally clean, with large dust bunnies in the closet, as if it had not been vacuumed for a long period of time. In addition, there was no Wi-Fi in the apartment, no coffee maker was provided and the handle of the microwave was broken off making it nearly impossible to use. On the bright side, we had a good view of the Washington Monument and we were conveniently located only 4 blocks from the metro making travel into DC easy. Overall, next time we travel to DC, we will find somewhere else to stay.
