The Hideout, Recently completed

The Hideout is a slab up renovation of a classic log cabin reimagined by a well-known Houston Custom Builder. Completed in the fall of 2024, The Hideout sits on 1.8 acres within a larger a private 103 acre ranch.
With views and access to a private stocked pond and cows that come to the fence to greet you, The Hideout is perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Every mechanical system in the home has been replaced. The kitchen features a Sub Zero and Wolf suite of appliances. Sit by the firepit and enjoy the view.
Nestled in Washington on the Brazos, the birthplace of Texas, the Hideout is 34 Miles from Kyle Field in College Station and 44 Miles from Round Top. The house is a 20 minute drives or less from Chappell Hill, Brenham, and Navasota allowing guests to experience all that small town Texas has to offer.

Very relaxing. The home was a blessing to my family. Very clean and comfortable. Everything in home was done with character and love. Would recommend anyone to experience what this host has provided. Cannot wait to come back this way and see the progress on the beautiful laid out pond adjacent to property. You can tell they have great pride in their presentation of "being home". Thank you.

This place is so so cute and a perfect weekend getaway! We stayed here for a wedding in town and loved it so much. The owner was so accommodating and responsive when needed. Such a good spot for a relaxing weekend!

Excellent Experience

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this property! The house is brand new and has an incredible aesthetic. Every detail was thought out, from the high-end appliances to the elegant furnishings. It truly felt like a luxury retreat. The tech and amenities were top-notch, it has all the latest smart home features making our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you need. Professional range/oven with a great flattop to cook on. The firepit area and view from the patio are second to none. We watched birds land on the adjacent pond as we sipped our morning coffee. Very comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
