“Hawkeye motel in Washington, Iowa is a great value. Management is doing a great job renovating the facility and are very responsive to guests needs. Located on the west side of town, it is on the main drag and easy to find, just north of the railroad bridge. Washington, Iowa is a classic midwestern town with lots of history. The airport has two runways and usually very competitive fuel prices.”

“The location is nice, but not worth the high price, the space is too small for cooking a meal and there is not table to sit, so it’s a glorified hotel sweet. They will be watching and if you have one extra person to visit you will receive a threat of getting removed from the property. I live in Chicago and come back to the area to spend time with my nieces and nephews, it was a bummer I had to drop one off just to be able to spend time with there others. I would only recommend this spot for……

“Staff was only present at desk after I had been waiting. Place smelled musty. TV remote didnt work so the TV was useless. Pool looked dingy and not sparkly clean. Bathroom towels were so used you could almost see through them. I would have walked out upon entering the place but with Expedia, I dont think you can get refunded. Was happy to only have been there 1 night and that I didnt have my family there with me to be exposed to the place.”
