“Cheryl and Ray went above and beyond to accommodate And respond to our crazy requests in the weeks Leading up to our wedding. They allowed us to check in early, which was very much appreciated on our wedding day! The hideaway was an idyllic place to ‘come home’ to after our wedding dinner. The pathway lights were so welcoming, and the place looked so inviting. Cheryl and Ray were quick to supply a vase for my wedding bouquet, which I hadn’t thought to bring with me. “We were in Port Dover for a family wedding and rented this cottage for the Labour Day week-end with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The cottage has great amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, had a fire every night. Lots of games in the cottage, very clean. The coffee and espresso maker were a nice addition with a good selection of coffees and teas. Anyone wanting to stay in this area, we recommend this cottage. My only complaint was the windy weather -- very high winds……

“Close to the beach, walking and biking trails, local winery, hot tub, easy drive ”

“From the indoor fire place to the perfect comfy decor, this cottage was a dream escape for a long weekend. The hottub and outdoor fire pit added to the activities we could do in late March, and the beach was a 2 minute walk away. Little touches, like a fully stocked kitchen, bath and beach towels, and the arcade and board games made this place extra special.”

“Ideal location to have people come and stay for beach walks, close to playground. Worked well for our needs. A bit inconvenient to have to bring sheets, towels and kitchen dish towels, but the house is well stocked with games/activities for the kids, blankets, chairs/seating, to do laundry, soups, paper towels, garbage bags. One final item is that the yard gate is currently quite difficult to open due to the grass hump built up between and either side of the car tracks. It's not impossible to……

“This cottage was the perfect vacation spot! There was never a dull moment- from kayaking to enjoying the private beach, the hot tub and bbq :) It really was a great place to stay & I would return! Only downside was the broken picnik table at the beach and the stairs could use some work towards the bottom to get to the beach, and spare keys to get into the bedroom if you have a toddler who likes to lock doors lol. Overall great stay.”
