“We love the history of Duff Green. Staff is always so friendly. Understanding this is an older historical home I still feel like it needs to be in better shape as far as cleaning an organization. The ice machine in upstairs kitchen has mold growing in it. The room we stayed in isn’t set up correctly. Broken toilet paper holder. Only 2 towels for a room that holds 8 people. There were only 3 of us. By the time we realized it I had to share a towel. Just more organization I think is needed. Little……

“My stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Vicksburg was disappointing, especially since the rate was over $200 per night. At that price, I expected a clean room, working amenities, and better customer service. When I arrived, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were crumbs on the kitchenette countertops and hair in the shower. These basic cleanliness issues should have been addressed before check-in. The television also did not work for the entire first day. Front desk staff attempted……

“Very nice staff. Easy check-in. Room was quaint. It was very quiet which was great. The room was clean and orderly. It is an old home, but was quite pleasant. This isn’t a criticism, but to let other travelers know, the refrigerator and microwave are in the shared living room area. They are not in the individual rooms. The location of the property was also excellent for sightseeing, and near a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.”

“I needed a relaxing hotel to stay in to break up my travels and this hotel did not disappoint! Upon entry, it was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and even though it was under a little bit of construction, it didn’t hinder must stay! It was quiet and extremely peaceful!”

“The cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful! The breakfast had a nice variety of options. They had security outside where cars were parked so that was comforting knowing our vehicle was safe. The beds were very comfortable. We do wish they had a fan/ventilation in the bathroom. Overall it was a very nice stay.”

“Despite having a confirmed reservation in writing ( thru Expedia), my reservation was canceled (after 9:00 pm on the night of my arrival). I had attempted to contact this hotel for several hours (between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm) and they NEVER answered their phone, nor could you leave a voicemail at any of their 4 recorded “answering” options. So, my family arrives in Vicksburg, MS around midnight with no place to stay. Not sure if this hotel or Expedia is at fault, but this is totally……

“The breakfast had to ask for coffee for to unlock the frig to get butter,cream cheese Seem to me wasn't enough to select from 1 ice machine was broken near my room so I had to walk to the other one”

“Room smelled musty. Cabinet door not easy to close for refrigerator. No light in bathroom without the fan. Bacon was not crisp at all.”
