Watsonville Golf Hotel

"Beautiful view!!! Everything was fantastic. Although there is one very bad thing about this property. Very thin walls you can hear people walking in the room above you and doors closing. "

"Loved the location being next to the beach. Clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing I disliked was the pillows being flat."

"Window exteriors and screens on the premium rooms could use a cleaning and replacement as the windows are the nicest feature in these rooms."

"I love the portola! Only place I stay and travel almost monthly down to Monterey. The rooms are always clean, spacious, the beds are very comfy. Partial bay view is a must. Balcony has two chairs nice to enjoy ur coffee on or listen to some wildlife (sea lions). Basically 4 restaurants attached to the hotel, Carmel bakery n coffee inside the hotel. The location is prime! Walk right and head down Alvarado st you got ur breweries and 10-15 restaurants. Go left and you’re on the Monterey pier , 7 restaurants, a bunch of clothes ans candy shops and my favorite whale watching. I do every time and it’s so close to portola. "

"Clean room, friendly staff, slippers and robe provided. Great pricing!!! I would totally come back here. Everything is remodeled & you can’t hear your neighbors unless you’re downstairs you can hear a bit of walking on top but other than that it was a 10/10 stay for us!! "

"Overall, a good clean place. I couldn’t rate staff as we did everything electronically..from check in to check out. We didn’t encounter in person staff. I’m satisfied with my stay. I will stay again. "

"We arrived at the hotel at 8PM after a long drive with a cranky toddler. We we got there, there was a sign in the door that said "back at 8:35". We had to wait 35 minutes in the parking lot to be able to check in and get our room. Several other guests were waiting outside as well. There was also no soap at the sink to wash your hands so we had to use body soap from in the shower. The room itself was okay, nothing terrible. Clean enough. "

"There was a water stain on the bathroom ceiling, and the window cushion was very worn. Other than that, very clean and staff was great! "
