Fantastic Little Getaway

This spot is magical. I already loved the Weaverville and Mars Hill area, but this spot made me love it so much more. This property was clean, and so well maintained. The property owner is so sweet. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone that’s good to be off the beaten path and enjoys the mountains.

Perfect Blend of Rustic & Chic!!

We absolutely loved our stay! It’s the perfect mix of chic and rustic, comfy and cozy all around, with a GREAT kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious living room area, and the view from the porch is SPECTACULAR! My wife and I can’t wait to come back!

Quiet getaway

Nice downstairs unit with large covered porch. Unit was stocked with all the necessities including french press for coffee. The dry sauna on the porch was very clean and relaxing.

Fabulous mtn retreat

Fantastic mtn retreat. If you are looking for a tranquil retreat in the mtns this place is it! The interior is exactly as shown. Very well appointed kitchen with all the extra condiments and spices to make cooking a breeze. Bed was sorry comfy and i loved how quiet the space was (next to no noise from above resident host and extremely quiet outside). Loved the covered back porch! And the interior layout and details are exceptional. I will DEFINITELY be back!

Arrived late at night, drive way was well marked. A gentle descend down lit steps merged into a beautiful wood porch with a Sauna, hammock and seating. Upon entry to the unit we found it most appealing, clean, comfortable temperature and definetly had a creative womens touch. Furnishings were like new, the bed was very comfortable and the unit was quiet. Amenities were all there for easy use. Definetly would stay there again. Owner communicated very well if I had questions. Two thumbs up!

Great stay!

Loved this downstairs apartment, as it was clean, well furnished and had a nice deck for hanging out. The kitchen also had everything we needed for some meals. I would definitely stay here again. The only slight negative is that the WiFi is slow, but that’s not what you’re in the mountains for anyway!

Amazing!

We will forever keep this property as an option when we are staying in Mars Hill and need our own space. The pictures do not do justice of how spacious and gorgeous this home is! The view is amazing and the sauna just adds an extra level of luxury. We can’t recommend enough!

We spent most of our time on the front porch, where we ate breakfast and dinner, soaking in the view and nighttime stars. Great hammock too! We loved the modern decor and well stocked kitchen. Downtown Weaverville was fun and you’re close to good hiking and Asheville too. Jackie is s good hostess - we definitely want to go back!

We loved our stay! The rental was spotless and exactly as described! Jackie was very easy to work with and we had a great time in the Asheville area (a 20 min. drive)! Make sure you visit Weaverville (10 min drive)...we loved the shops, the Well Bred Bakery, The Glass Onion and The Crepe restaurant!! We would stay here again!

The place was good for a solo trip to a workshop nearby. I particularly enjoyed the fully stocked, easy to cook in kitchen, and laying in the hammock / sitting on the deck outside overlooking the view. It was quiet and peacefull. The bathroom needs some work, and I prefer a harder bed, but overall, it was a good stay. The place is down some steps and underneath the host, so keep that in mind when bringing your things to unpack. I did not communicate these things to the owner while there, but specifically the shower head needs to be replaced (it sucked bad), and the shower did not drain (needs a really deep good snaking). Also, the bathroom toilet needed a deeper cleaning, but the rest of the house felt clean, and these are easy to fix.

A very nice location. Close enough to Asheville and Parkway without feeling crowded. Perfect for two people, but no more. Great kitchen. Nice porch. Small, but priced accordingly.
