About this property

Private Point Lake Chalet.

  • Beautiful Chalet style lake home on a shared private lake snuggled in the north woods.
    FYI: There is no public boat launch which makes this perfect for a relaxing get away.

    We offer our lake home on an acre of yard on the lake side with waterfront, Beachfront, our own private beach, lake view, beach view and western facing sunsets. We do have our pontoon available for rent for those interested in a motor boat.

    We have 2 kayak, 1 canoe, 1 paddleboat, a few yard games, lawn chairs, beach chairs, gas grill, wifi, smart TV, and a few games for those rainy days.

    2 bedrooms, 1 loft, 1 den, 2 baths, living room, family room, dining room, enclosed glass sun porch, laundry room, large deck, lower patio, beach, dock, large open yard in wooded community.

    Spring, summer, and fall, you can enjoy 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat free with the lake home rental.

    All season...Relax on the deck watching the sunset or snuggle up on the sofa with a great book. The tall pines, a bonfire, and relaxing call of the loons will surely sooth your soul. Come enjoy a 2-day getaway or stay for a week to unwind.

    In the winter, enjoy the beauty of a blanket of white snow next to a warm, cozy fire. Bring the snowmobile, ATV, or side by side as we have many trails to hop on and ride just down from the cabin. Don't forget your cross-country skis and snow shoes.

    Summer, Voyager Village offers great greens for that round of golf before the snow flies. They also offer a full menu for great dining or just a quick bite of food when you have finished a day of play. Indoor and outdoor dining.

    So conveniently close to the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Eau Claire. Making this a great place to come and play within 2 hour drive for many.

Gary and Linda’s cabin was wonderful! Was clean, had plenty of room for everyone and anything that we needed for the kitchen was provided. We really enjoyed the fact that we did not have steps to go down to the water as well. Was also a very peaceful location. We will be returning!

It is a little slice of heaven. It is warm and comfortable with everything you could ever need. The lakeview and nature from the deck and shore are breathtaking. The sunsets… Wowsa! We came as a girlfriend trip with three girls, I’d love to bring my family of 10 sometime. Thankyou!!!!

Point Lake Vacation

The cabin is beautiful, the beach is wonderful and the yard was great for lawn games. We had such a great time! The cabin had real good space for our families to eat & make food and sleep comfortably.

Lovely Lake Stay!

We really enjoyed our time here. The owners met us on site to make sure we had everything we needed and were so nice! We loved the kayaks and the paddle boat, and the little beach was so fun! The bonfire pit was by the water and was stacked with firewood. We loved watching the sunsets and cozying up by the fire under the night sky. A wonderful and relaxing stay!

FAMILY VACATION

This propey was great. Staying at the property was hy husband, my self and my sons family (5 of them) the 3 kids 16, 9 and 2. Everyone had a great time. The 2 youngest really enjoyed the beach.. Paddle boat and kayak was a hit .

Peaceful and Comfortable Lake House

Linda's lake house was a lovely place for my family and I to stay while in the Wisconsin woods for my grandfather's celebration of life. It comfortably slept all 6 of us. It is a beautiful private property with stunning views of the lake. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock and using the paddleboat. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Return Trip!

This is our second time at Linda and Gary's amazing lake house. Last time we stayed for a few days, this time we stayed for a week, and it was amazing! We got to watch the leaves change, we went out on the paddle boat every day, and overall just had a relaxing time staying in and away from the rest of the world. Linda and Gary are amazing hosts and always easy to communicate with, and we're already looking at our 2025 calendar to plan our next trip. An amazing place to stay!!

Great property!

The layout of the rooms was fantastic, comfortable beds and plenty of space! I was a nerd and didn't read that you had to bring your own towels though. A good lesson on reading skills ha! Would definitely stay again!

Consistently great!

A great stay at Linda and Gary's property. They took our feedback from our 2023 stay to make an even better stay in 2024. The cabin covers your basic needs to cook and have fun at the beach! We will back back again. Good fishing right from the dock, and a quiet lake.

A great family retreat!

Our extended family had a great experience at Point Lake. With two young kids (8 and 5), a teenager and 5 adults, we enjoyed the waterfront, fishing, paddling, and nightly campfires. The house was very comfortable and fully equipped. We found the sunroom ("enclosed porch") peaceful and inviting, bedrooms comfortable, dining space was perfect and we even enjoyed just a little bit of TV. The location is close to some small towns yet clearly far enough off the beaten path for true relaxation!

Northern escape

We had a great time. What brought us to the house was the cooler temperatures, and activities around the lake. (Canoeing, fishing, bicycling and kayaking. ) The house was just as it was described. Very homey. We would come again.

Relaxing weekend of fishing and family time.

This amazing property was perfect for a get-together of visiting family. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of room for sleeping, eating, and cooking indoors. The areas for eating outside offered a beautiful view of the shore line and lake. Fishing from the dock and going out in the paddle boat offered us a wonderful fish dinner. The canoe and kayaks were a fun way to get excercise and see the beautiful scenery. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldnt change a thing.
