"Overall, the property looks great, although, we didn't utilize any of the amenities since we were only staying one night. Something I wish I'd realized ahead of time is that for these particular cabins, there is only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower. The welcome packet says to limit showers to 10 minutes but in my experience, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, but has everything you'd need.

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Banyan cabin. It was very tranquil and allowed us to destress very easily. The cabin is in excellent condition with the kitchen bearing a nice modern look. There was a washer and dryer in the cabin which allowed us to wash some of our clothes no problem. Management was nice and friendly and helped us check into the cabin easily. "We stayed in a cabin. Furniture is old and dated and there was a strong musty smell, probably from the old carpet. Pros: room was large; bed was comfortable. We were charged a $22 daily amenities fee - for what amenities? There aren’t any. Location was good - right next to the lake but no views from the cabin."

"The Stone Cottage was everything we hoped it would be! The setting was peaceful, private, and serene. We stayed in June 2026 and the reservoir was full which added to our enjoyment.The place was clean and all of the furnishings and layout were as described in the property details. Sylvia was a wonderful host and quickly answered questions as they arose. She even let us borrow her canoe which we used to take sunset tours around the lake. We swam in the lake daily, enjoyed strolling around the 6 acres, and were captivated by the wildlife which is abundant! We enjoyed a mama deer and her two fawns grazing in the yard every day.Check in and check out we’re probably the easiest we’ve had at any rental we’ve stayed in.Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stay in the Stone Cottage!"

"This motel has probably been there for a while but everything has been updated. The room was nice and clean, the bed and pillows excellent. Has a great refrigerator with separate freezer for your cooler freezer bags. A microwave and a little coffee machine in the room was also very convenient. Soap dispensers on the wall in the bathroom and in the shower. I was also happy that there was both a table and two chairs by the window and another chair and desk. I hardly heard another guest the whole time I was there and two of the three nights it was sold out with no vacancy. I will definitely stay here again."

"Staff weren't too knowledgeable as far as promos and discounts for frequent flyers like myself and my brother. We live out of state and granted we are only an hour away but I like to have my ducks in and row before.we get there. When I made the reservation over the phone I was told one thing (that's why we went) and then when we got there, it was a different thing. The front desk staff told me I could get ahold of, sorry the name escapes me, and speak with them because they were the person in charge of the promos and that they couldn't do anything for me but they did have to charge me. So I asked to speak with that person and was told that they were gone for the day and was not returning until Monday. Well didn't help me at all this is a Thursday night I live out of state and now I'm out more money than intended so less money to gamble and have fun with I really just did want to turn around and go home. But we made the drive, spent the money on the gas, and it was already dark. Might sound Petty to some people, but checking in at 9:00 p.m. and having to check out by 11:00 a.m. the next day at a hotel / Casino, I would much rather be spending my money at the casino and that's what I was told. So we stayed, I was determined to turn my mood but that didn't happen. We left the next morning checked out before 11:00, with a very sour taste in my mouth for rain Rock. Have not been back since."

"Our room wasn’t that clean, found crumbs on the chairs and close to the fridge. We found hair in the bathroom and Ants. The bathtub was clogged, water took time to go. Sheets were clean but the couch had dirty spots. The floor was dirty too. Ice machine didn’t work. I liked the layout of the suite. My kids liked the swimming pool. Breakfast was ok."
