Enjoyed the paddle boat the most! The long Stairway to lake was quite a hike for some of us!! Overall a great pick!”

“We took a few days for a girls trip just to get out of Lansing for awhile. This was the perfect rural getaway! The scenery was breathtaking after the snow storm and I felt like I was in a magical little cabin. The furniture was cozy and comfy, the place was clean and so super cute and charming. We can't wait to come back in summer so we can properly enjoy this little lake house AND the lake!”

“There was plenty of room throughout the home and had everything we needed. The residence sits on a quiet course where we spent much our time grilling and watching the locals golf. Communication was excellent, the owners are very sweet and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our weekend stat and would highly recommend this place over and again.”

“I stayed with family (6 adults, 2 children), in early spring. Given the time of year we had cool temperatures and some rain but none of that affected how much we enjoyed our stay. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and all the rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well appointed. The open floor plan and big table and couches let everyone be together. “Overall the Beaver's Den was a nice destination for a get-away. Even though there are many houses around the Den, it was generally very quiet. Very much enjoyed watching the woodpeckers, blue jays and hummingbirds enjoying the bird feeders. Would definitely stay here again if it's available when I'm in the area. Tried to kayak on the Chippewa River but gave up. The river moves deceptively fast and with no experience kayaking and traveling alone I decided trying to kayak would be a very bad……

“Only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. Angie communicated throughout the process-even sending condolences when she found out we were in the area for brother in law’s funeral. Very clean, cozy, and easy to find everything, ie instructions to TV, and house rules. Beautiful view from patio of small lake-moon was full!
