“Our family had a great stay at this retro get away for labor day weekend. There was more than enough room for all of us. We were all able to have our own room/space to sleep. The property manager was quick to respond with any questions we had and let us in as soon as we arrived. The house it self could use some updating but overall no complaints! The yard was well kept and the shallow water in front of the break wall was soft and sandy. We enjoyed a fire each night down by the water. Would……

“We loved our weekend stay and can't wait to go back next summer. We were able to bring our pontoon and dock it right in front of the cabin. We spent most of our time on the lake and we caught lots of fish! Although we went out for dinner they had everything we wouldve needed to cook there. Excited to come back again and will bring the kids next time!”

“We had a wonderful time at this house! We were a group of adults, family and friends and one infant, celebrating a birthday. The rooms were all wonderful. The host even had a pack-n-play for the baby to use so we didnt have to bring one. The weekend was very cold, but the indoor pool and spa made the weekend a great time. There is so much space in the house for everyone to have their own area, but also come together for meals and game time. Thank you Dee and Chris for a wonderful stay!”

“Overall great place and experience. Few things to note: There is no washer / dryer as described in the listing. The mattresses were hard as a rock, but I slept great anyways. The place was immaculately appointed and cleaned. The showers did not get more than luke warm, it sucked a bit. The water was hot everywhere else, but the showers while beautiful, also need to be hot. A few details need to be addressed, but I would go back once again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the “Cabbage” for an extended weekend. The lake themed decor along with the functionality of items needed when staying away is great! It is so quiet and calm. We walked to the area where you can put kayaks into the lake. There were geese, ducks, and squirrels which made our dog happy. The General Store in the town of Lake is a must! You can find everything…fresh meat, produce, groceries, memorabilia, craft beers, wine…selection of all is amazing. The Pere Marquette walking……
