50-feet to the water and directly across from Mayo beach, you'll walk to everything (beach, town, restaurants)! Classic Cape Cod charm awaits you in this sweet cottage on the water. Located directly across the street from Cape Cod Bay, its view will leave you breathless. Watch the boats sail by while enjoying your morning coffee in the living room, grill on the patio at night while taking in a magnificent sunset or take a short stroll down the street to enjoy some of Wellfleet’s most celebrated restaurants: The Pearl, The Bookstore Café, Ceraldi and Mac’s Shack. Venture just a bit further down the road and you’ll be in the center of downtown Wellfleet enjoying gallery walks and square-dancing nights on the Harbor. Outfitted with everything you need to enjoy your stay, and comfortable for up to five people.

Excellent area!
The cottage was very nice and clean. Comfortable and spacious. Outside area was a decent space. Distance to the beach was just across the street.

The unit has flaws. it was very cold and the Heater did not work as described in the welcome package. We turned the thermostat up as instructed and nothing happen. The rug in the front room should be removed or taped down. It’s a major trip hazard. We actually rolled it up while staying there so that wouldn’t happen. After the first night, I woke up to find one of the pillow cases was filthy, and not from me. It obviously wasn’t cleaned from previous guest. I took a picture of the dirty pillowcase, but cannot seem to paste to this review. There are 4 remotes on the cocktail table with no instruction for any of them. After the first day, we realized the cable box has been unplugged probably from the cleaning crew and after connecting that, we could see some of the local stations.

Great location and exactly as advertized
We had a great stay! Directly across the street from a really nice beach and within walking distance to several restaurants. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal at home as well. I would recommend!

Enjoyable stay!!
Location, Location, Location! The location just behind Mayo Beach was superb. Easy walking distance to the Pier, the Bookstore/Bomb Shelter Pub and Uncle Tim's Bridge and Island. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived and we tried to leave it how we found it when we departed. There were aspects to the house that could use some updating (blinds, TV (which we never were able to get to work). Wellfleet is a bit quiet in April (as we expected), but we still had the chance to visit some great restaurants! We might return at some point, again in the offseason, Spring or Fall.

Cute and cozy
This is such a cute little house directly across from the harbor. We enjoyed our beach walks on both the harbor as well as the harbor which included lots of seal sightings. The house is cheerful with comfortable beds and furniture. There are tons of channels to watch on the rainy days as well. We enjoyed our week in Wellfleet!
