Two seating areas downstairs made it easy for our family of four to spread out, even when we had guests. Kitchen is well laid out, mattresses are very comfortable, and the surrounding area is quiet. We would definitely go back.”

This beautifully maintained home takes you back to the late 1700's early 1800's where one can visualize the way people used to live with the wide board wood floors and multiple fireplaces. “This house was perfect for our group. It is spacious, modern and comfortable with a great yard and views of Catamount. We loved that the house is so new and clean yet also dog friendly. The proximity to the mountain made our ski days so easy. The kitchen is well equipped and we made dinner there several nights. One small gripe: firewood not supplied for the awesome stone fireplace. But we brought our own. Overall a wonderful house and we will be back.”

Only suggestion would be to provide a few more hooks in the bathrooms for guests to hang personal things (night clothes, used towels, etc.). I would highly recommended this place.”

“We stayed in this house last year and liked it so much we went back again. Three of us stayed very comfortably - two of us sharing a room with the twin beds, and the 3rd getting her own big bed. We spent time sitting around the kitchen table as well as hanging out in the living room. We had everything we needed, very easy and cozy. The countryside around is gorgeous, with the leaves changing colors. And the peacocks coming to visit is a bonus! Note that the house is a bit hard to find on the……

The hosts were easy to get a hold of and incredibly welcoming, leaving us with a generous basket of local treats. We loved the peaceful outdoor space and roamed all 40 acres.
