“I should have known my experience would be bad, when it took 2.5 hours to get my food from the restaurant at the resort. The facilities were outdated and many of the appliances were rusted. The weight room was small with equipment not maintained. One treadmill had a broken screen and the other had a loose belt. Requests were treated as an inconvenience. It took hours to get towels replaced. I did not have WiFi in my room my entire stay. The first day I notified staff, I was told “all rooms have……

“Everything was alright only we didn’t watch any television because it only had 3 channels playing cartoons other than that everything else was fine”

“Property was very clean, courtyard was excellent and tropical, pool great by ocean. LaRoc bar and grill is the only restaurant in the area but food was good and staff Ok. Property caters to the condo owners. Hotel is a small part of the property. Restaurant doesn’t open till noon and hotel doesn’t offer any breakfast or coffee services. Not even Kleenex in the room. Room service and towels are request only. Very relaxing and peaceful though.”

“Loved the 5th floor view, I could see the ocean from the bed. Murphy bed was comfortable. Good hot water, fully equipped kitchen. Really enjoyed swimming in the pool and ocean. Walked on beach almost daily. Grounds and condo building well kept up. I would rent again.”

“Booked this online via Expedia because it looked great - got to the site and it was CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. Luckily we were able to contact someone on site so they could set up a cot for us, but the place was CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS so there were no services. The airline had lost our luggage, so we had to wait at the property because that’s where the airline was bringing our luggage, even though it WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. But eventually the airline told us they WEREN’T bringing our……

“Lovely home, clean,nicely furnished and a great view off the balcony! It is a walk up so a little caution to older visitors. We will be back!”

“I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances. The front desk totally screwed up my reservation and charged me twice. I still have not been refunded but hopefully will in the near future. Otherwise Harold’s wonderful smile kept……

“Dess was a much needed oasis in what could have been a nightmare scenario. The accommodations and the quick responses to all your needs is greatly appreciated. Room was extremely clean and well kept pictures do it no justice. Really nicely decorated and upkept. Amenities in the condo are great stores are close and expensive if something is missing. Enjoy this gem of a stay. Ty so much for having us.”
