“As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many……

“The hotel was awful. I was on the 2d floor, I was there 3 days 2 nights. I didn’t sleep at all it was horrible; all I could hear is people walking all night in the wee hours of the morning and toilet flushing. If all possible I would like a refund!!! I would never stay at that hotel or refer anyone to it Unsatisfied customer”

“Had a great stay here. Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. Sad there was a tiny pool that was warm but no hot tub. Aside from that, no complaints here!!”

“Overall, this was a nice hotel in a convenient location, right next to the Rustic Moose Restaurant, which I highly recommend. I also want to recognize the shuttle driver who picked me up. He was truly wonderful, kind, and helpful, and I appreciated that he also assists with hotel processes. However, I do want to offer feedback about an experience that could have been handled with more hospitality and care. While I was getting ready to leave for a Celebration of Life, I cut my finger deeply……

“First room had untidy room, bed was dirty. Next room better. Homeless sleeping in drive through a behind building, on the other side of the cyclone fence. Sketchy parking lot. Minimal choices for continental breakfast. Would not recommend, nor will I stay here again. Can’t brlitits part Wyndum or Howard Johnson”

“The best part of this stay was the waitress at the restaurant the night we checked in. She was AMAZING!! The morning waitress was rude and not helpful, but other than that this hotel checked all the boxes at 5 stars!!”

“This is a delightful old home which has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1987. I loved the wraparound porch. Room was spacious enough. Breakfast was nice: yogurt w granola and fresh fruit; croissant; 7-minute boiled eggs...same each day. I wanted to use the croquet set but we never quite got to it. Some reviews mentioned a problem with the shared bathroom if you choose one of those two rooms. I thought it was fine. Everyone was considerate. However, if you are traveling alone I wouldn't……

“Every employee i encountered was perfectly trained for customer service. Breakfast was good, pool, hot tub, and fitness center were all great and well-maintained. I will definitely stay again next time im in the area.”

“We liked the smaller size. It was busy sometimes but never chaotic. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of variety to please every family member. We also liked that the hotel had a elevator. It made it easier on my 85 YO Mom.we did not use the hot tube or pool so we don't have a response on them. The staff was great! They even helped me find a stellar locksmith to open our truck after I locked the key in it. They showed up promptly & got us back on the road with only a 30 min total delay -……
