"We had the most amazing holiday at the Red House. The hosts were welcoming and very responsive. The house was exactly as described. We were fortunate to enjoy beautiful sun rises over the ocean in the morning and a couple of evenings with a full moon. It was an incredible experience and definitely enhanced our holidays. What a joy it was to finish our day of touring and come back to the Red House and relax. We would love to come back again!"

"There were no amenities to rate, however we were satisfied with the stay. It was a last minute booking quite late into the evening, but the receptionist was quick, helpful, and very friendly. The room, though a bit dated, was extremely clean and well kept. For the price, it was a great stay."

"Stopped here on the way to the airport. Very clean and amenities well cared for. Comfy bed and friendly staff at the courthouse for check-in. Town itself leaves a wee bit to be desired, suggest driving up Water St rather than the main road into town for a more pleasant view."

"We loved our stay at the Saltbox . Very unique property. It has everything you need and lots of extra touches . Beautifully decorated to fit the location and time period . Also nice touches like books about the area and things connected to fishing industry (knot tying instruction kit ) . A lovely area to explore . We were there to go to the Wooden Boat Museum . Very well done . The host was very good at communication . We would definitely recommend staying here . We wished we had more time to do that . Our favourite place so far in our trip to Nfld ."

"Traveled from Ontario, location was easy to access from St.Johns Airport. Location was perfect for day outingd and relaxing on the deck in the evening. Could not ask for a better view. We saw whales and dolphins right off the deck and enjoyed watching the fishermen coming in each day. Highly reccomend staying here, bring some good hiking gear if you enjoy long strenuous hikes, there are 2 trails right at your door step."
