“Gorgeous cosy cottage with stunning views over the Uig sands. 3 generous double bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen including a double air fryer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, good WiFi. 2 minute walk to access the lagoon of Uig sands, we swam everyday. It’s a remote tiny village which really helps you get away from it all, but lots to do around the place, we did some lovely hikes, seatrek boat tour, visiting Luskentyre beach, and Butt of Lewis lighthouse. Loads of wildlife and saw……

“The cottage was just a pictured - quaint, well appointed, cozy, and quite. Our hostess was very pleasant, providing us a warm welcome and suggestions for dining and visits. We wanted to be a bit out of the way as we visited the Isle of Skye and this location/cottage checked all boxes. It was not located in Portree but close enough for groceries, dining, etc. We chose to stay in most nights and the kitchen provided a wonderful array of equipment/dishes to cook meals for ourselves at night and……

“We loved the remote, tranquil location. Well positioned to visit Neist Lighthouse, Dunvegan, Skye Weavers and to enjoy an exceptional dinner at Three Chimneys. Cafe Lephin also is a very cool spot with a great playlist and makes for a nice mid-morning or afternoon spot for coffee, tea and scones. The general store is surprisingly well stocked! The house is nicely updated and the space was terrific for us traveling with our young adult son. Getting there: Don't follow Google maps, it brings you……
