“We had a fantastic stay at the lake house. It reminded us of spending time at the family lake house as a kid. We were able to unwind and relax during our stay. Lake Johnson is the perfect size lake with something for everyone to enjoy.”

“This property was perfect for our anniversary/ Easter get together. Great common space for us to cook, visit and enjoy each other’s company! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving. Very limited and delayed communication from the owner, but ultimately no issues! We were not told in advance that the hot tub was not available. Not a big deal but would have saved us from packing swimsuits. Would definitely stay here again though, great experience!”

“We had a great time, the pool and backyard area were amazing! Super close to lake mac and also close to the grocery stores in Ogallala! The house was very clean and host was very responsive. Even had a cute welcome basket when we checked in. We will definitely be back again soon!”

“Our family came to be together for a funeral. The place is large with 5 comfortable beds. We were able to spread out and come together. There are lake views in rhe front and back of the house.The home is well stocked with food, spices and cooking utensils. We absolutely loved our stay ay this wonderful home and would not hesitate to stay again. Teresa was available to answer all questions. Thank you again for this place. Our family was able to laugh, love an heal here.”

“The house was so beautiful with everything we needed. The garage was fun to sit in and just talk and drink. The location is perfect and we were able to leave the boat right by the boat dock at Van's just 4 miles away.”

“We were in town for a wedding. The home is basic but nice and clean. No internet or cable so bring your own form of entertainment. No communication from owner, I called the day before our arrival to find out how to get in the house. She was very nice but I would guess they don’t rent very often. No instructions regarding what to do when leaving ie bedding, towel, trash, temp… Overall it served its purpose and we would definitely rent again but know better what to expect next time.”

This lake is fabulous and the property is right by where (in my opinion) the best beach access points are. Cooking utensils are hit or miss, so you might want to pack things you know you'll need if you're cooking in. Check-in was super easy! Would definitely recommend.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at Parker's Round House. The first night, we drove over to Big Springs and at at Max's Diner. Mother nature didn't cooperate too much on our second day, so we just stayed in and watched movies. It was a very relaxing weekend. The Parkers' were very hospitable. The Silo was a very cool experience. We would definitely stay again.”

“Nice little cabin walking distance from margaritas a great mexican restaurant Friendly staff, breakfast at American was great. Check-in was easy. Pond area was a nice touch but would be nice if someone would clean up a bit- there was broken glass and a knife randomly by the play area ”
