Great location
This house was in a great location! Close to town, but still peaceful. Trains run by frequently, but we enjoyed them. Some of the plumbing seemed leaky and there was a hole in one of the sinks, but otherwise we had a great stay. Appreciate a place that allows multiple dogs!

A perfect wine country stay
Beautifully decorated for Christmas, this was a wonderful place to enjoy the New Years weekend. Amila was the perfect hostess and always responded quickly. The location is great for enjoying the area.

Nice clean house
Very clean house, nicely furnished. Very conservative on paper towels and toilet paper, had to go buy more because we ran out. Coffee maker worked but took 2 hour to make a full pot. Wide variety of utensil, all knives very very dull. Way too may air fresheners, gave us all a headache within an hour. Very poor water pressure. Location is good for lighthouse or winerys.

Beautiful Property
The property is absolutely gorgeous and ideal for a family with kids and dogs. House was spacious and accomodated our large group of seven adults and two children well. The location is convenient to downtown with a grocery store and close to local beach. There was also a farm produce stand right down the road we enjoyed. Owner is very communicative. Neber had any issues getting a response for any questions. Be prepared tjat someone may stop by to water flowers during warmer months. Trains do go by- they did not bother our group for sleeping but can be a little loud if you're hanging outside. If you're a large group doing cooking, I'd recommend bringing a set of mixing bowls, measuring cup, and some pantry basics. Other than that, the kitchen had plenty to work with. Also recommend bringing extra toilet paper and paper towels for a large group on an extended stay. Didn't see any extras in the house, so was glad we came prepared with extra!

Fall getaway
Just came back from a wonderful 2 days staying at this property with friends. Very nice house and was convenient to wineries and breweries. Definitely will he back!! Host was great!!!

Perfect Stay
The house was immaculate. Many thoughtful extras. The setting is specular and the view from the deck is beautiful. The area offers lots to do to keep busy. Wineries, Lake Chautauqua plus some great restaurants. Would definitely return.

Great house and area to stay in
The home was a perfect place for our girl weekend. Close to so many winery’s to visit. Beautiful property to stay on. We loved every minute of our weekend. Great host always got right back to me with any questions I had. And such a bonus being a dog friendly home. My dog loved country life for the weekend.

Comfortable,spacious, and welcoming home
The home is even larger and beautiful than the pictures portray. The owner was very kind and patient even though we had to call him a few times during our stay. He took care of issues very quickly. The outdoor space was amazing. I wish our event had not used up our night time hours because it would have been great to use the fire pit in addition to the beautiful deck. We enjoyed the trains and were unable to heat them while inside the house. We hope to stay again in the future.

Perfect for our needs
Great house, perfect location, large enough for our family of 6 to have our own space. Owner was fabulously communicative, we felt very welcomed the moment we stepped in the door. Will hopefully be able to stay again, have plans to visit some of the many surrounding vineyards!

Our stay was great. House is very big and clean. Note the garage can be used as a bonus room if it rains. Pictures show a pool but it is now the firepit. All in all a great house to rent!

Beautiful Property
This house is a beautiful place to stay, especially in early summer. Looking off the back deck, there's a pond to the left and grape vines to the right. The kids loved watching the trains go by. The house is well insulated so you won't notice them at night. The air conditioning worked great and we appreciated the laundry machines and dishwasher.

Hostess was very responsive and kind. Directions were clear. Home was clean and comfortable. We used the deck a lot, and the fire pit both nights. Beds were comfortable - we were each able to have our own room. Kitchen was well stocked. Found lots to eat and do in the area. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Visited with family for a after Christmas Christmas with our Erie family. Very happy tree was still up as we had secret Santa gift exchange. Weather could have been a little warmer, but with that out of anyones control, we had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable. I would recommend.

Wedding weekend
Very close to wedding locale. Did not do any other activities in the area, though the wineries looked appealing. I can say that we did not bring our dog as planned, & after asking Amelia for the agreed upon $100 reimbursement, have yet to see it.

The property was absolutely beautiful! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. It fit my family perfectly for Thanksgiving dinner. It was very homey and welcoming. Bridal perfection surrounded by wine country
Working with the owner of this property was great! I got married in Mayville and this was the perfect location. Great views, excellent space, and clean. For my first night there it was just the bridal party, and had a wonderful space for us getting ready in the morning. There was plenty of space for our hair stylists/makeup artists to work. The lighting in the rooms was perfect for my photographer to take shots of my dress and bridal party. For my second night I stayed with my husband and the master bedroom/bathroom was huge! It was a dream staying here. There was a slight issue with the front door but the owner addressed it immediately. Pictures don't do it justice.

Trip to see family
This was a great location for my family (four couples) to meet and enjoy time together. We grew up in Titusville PA and visited this area often when we were young. We enjoyed visiting the wineries, hiking and just sitting around enjoying each others company. We never found the part of the Gorge that we use to hike as kids, but still enjoyed the country side. The trains coming through didn't bother us too much as the air conditioner drowned out the sound.

Overall a good time
This was our first vacation that was not at the beach and we weren't sure what to expect. The house was very nice, very clean, and in a very nice area. I had read about the trains in another review but forgot about them. Those tracks are heavily used, however you really can't hear them inside the house. The TV in the bedroom we never got to work, and one in the living room we could only get Netflix to work. Luckily we were so busy it wasn't a huge deal. There is a pond that my boys loved fishing in. The deck is very nice to sit on and a very nice fire pit area. Overall we would recommend to friends.

Wonderful time with family
We were able to spend quality time with our children and grandkids in this great home. We enjoyed the spacious home, and great surroundings. The fire pit was fun and the deck overlooked the beautiful property that included frequent passing trains. The town of Westfield and nearby Barcelona Beach were also enjoyable. Overall a great stay. We created lasting memories with our family.

Best Remote Home away from Home!
Due to covid-19, we have not been able to go on vacation. So this allowed us to enjoy a mini-cation alone. We did not have to share a space with anyone except those in our home. It was nice and quiet not having to worry about anyone around us and our health safety was not at risk. Everything is included in the home except your food. This property is absolutely wonderful! We loved the location, the cleanliness, and the property is warm and promotes family bonding. This is a beautiful home in the heart of wine country! Amila responded quickly to all my questions (I had several). We love the isolation but we were still close to a grocery store and the lake was an added bonus. We loved the place and will stay again.

It started a bit rough when the lock box would not open for us to get the key, but Amila was quick to respond and got us a replacement key. The property is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our days visiting wineries and our evenings chatting and sipping wines. We will definitely look to rent this beautiful home again.

Nice location for an easy getaway
We had a couple families get together for a long weekend and had a great time. It's a simple house with everything one needs. The young kids particularly loved the trains going by, the clean garage for playing, and the tiny hill on the side of the house which was just enough to sled on.

It was a great house with lots of space for our kids to spread out. The host was helpful when we had questions. There is a train that comes by a lot but my kids loved it and we got used to the noise. It's a beautiful house and it felt just like home so much my kids wanted to move in.

I had booked this house twice for this year but unfortunately could not go either time. First on labor day weekend due to a water heater issue at the house and then quarantine restrictions due to covid. Owner had good, quick communication and refunded money quickly. Hopefully will be able to visit next year.

A quiet and cozy bachelorette/bachelor weekend
My husband and I brought our best friends, who are getting married next month, to this beautiful home for a pandemic friendly "bachelor/ette" weekend. They did not get to take engagement photos due to covid, so the deck, yard, orchard, pond, and vineyard made the perfect backdrops to make up for lost time. The house was spacious, yet cozy, so warm and inviting. The furniture in all the rooms was super comfortable, and everyone slept great! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, allowing me to cook several delicious meals during our stay. The firepit was our favorite part, and we spent the evening in the yard laughing, listening to music and telling stories. An earlier review mentioned the existence of the pool deck being undesirable, so I have to comment on that....We set our Bluetooth speaker up there on the deck and used it as a staging area for smores, hot dogs, and mountain pies. It was actually A HUGE help in the dark! This home is very close to the nearby town, literally five minutes down the road, with easy access to gas stations, groceries, and some cute stores. We loved or stay and made some great memories. The gears are already turning as we think about planning a possible summer vacation in 2021 at this beautiful orchard near this quaint little town.
