「The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.」

I can see from the listing pictures that the owners have changed some furniture (chairs, bed frame) but we loved the layout of the cabin, the furniture is sturdy, taken care of and in good condition. They were readily available-met us when we parked at the lodge to escort us to our cabin; brought us extra towels, TP, soap when asked. We definitely recommend staying at this property, and would be happy to stay in any other...

「Neat place, close to everything. Host was super responsive. Particularly liked that there were lots of coffee options and plenty of utensils for those who (like me) like to cook their own food. Also close to a park with a walking/running trail.Will definitely stay there again!」

「Great stay at Hummingbird Hideaway! Gorgeous views, ample space, great accommodations. Be aware that it is very rural - approx 17 minutes just to get back to the highway, then another 30 minutes to the next town. Very quiet, great stargazing and wildlife. Highly recommend!」

「My wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque and wanted to stop along the way to break up the trip. This property fit the bill to a tee. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything (even sodas and some cookies), The bed we used was fantastic. We liked it so much we went shopping and made our own supper. The property manager communicated effectively.」
