“The Hotel is immaculate and Stephen is warm and welcoming host. The Room had everything required and the Hotel Is in easy walking distance of all the restaurants & shops. Car Parking is not provided but that seems to be the general state of affairs. Weymouth. A very pleasant stay”

“Room was very clean and tidy. More than enough space for the two of us. Tea and coffee making machine in the room, as well as a mini fridge, which was unexpected, but very welcome. A variety of breakfast items are available as well as an option for full english. Hosts Richard and Karen were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again, and would thouroughly recommend staying at The Clarence.”

“Just a perfect weekend. Weather was fabulous considering its rained constantly for what feels like forever. Weymouth is a really lovely place and the Beach House was just lovely. We were brilliantly looked after, room was perfect, breakfast was yummy. I cannot speak highly enough of the Beach House. Perfect location and hosts. THANK YOU ”

“Very nice place to visit, warm and stylish with wonderful food and service. Place where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside life. Cottage room are very nice with own fire plce and comfy bed but smells old and damp would be nice to have some better ventilation there. Same as swimming pool and jacuzzi nice pool but very shallow, once you in jacuzzi is hard to breathe due to chlorine and bad ventilation. Pet friendly but if you with a pet you have only option to stay in the cottage……

“The breakfasts were amazing, Karl and Jocelyn were delightful, and the room was furnished with understated good taste. Lots of little touches - gorgeous sandalwood soap, Tunnoch's milk chocolate caramel wafers, lovely solid waterglasses, comfy sofa, thick pile carpet - and it's all unbelievably clean. (We used to run a guest house ourselves and know clean when we see it.) Oh, and there's a fabulous dog. The guest house is perfectly located, especially if you're planning a visit to the……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Penny our host could not do enough for us. It was bed and breakfast and ‘WOW’ what a breakfast, so much choice and very filling. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, your room was cleaned as soon as you left. Nothing was to much trouble for Penny and she always had a smile on her face. Just for your information, anyone thinking of booking, you have to negotiate stairs, to get to all but one of the bedrooms.”

“It is very very close to the railway station. The room is small but very clean and tidy. There is no lift and you will need to take your luggage upstairs. It is also close to the beach. A very nice and enjoyable stay.”

“A few of my colleagues have stayed here over a few nights and said how lovely the owner was and he assisted when Expedia didn't send through the booking quick enough but was kind enough to put up in an upgraded room at no extra cost to ourselves - highly recommend and will definitely be using this accommodation again when my trainers are down that way.”
